My wife and I visited 3 times during our stay in Perthshire. This site has a large window and a number of feeders that attracts a wide range of birds from Woodpeckers to Siskins; there were also a number of Yellowhammers together with a variety of Blue Tits, Great Tits and Coal Tits. Many people understandably want to see the... More

Lots to do and good value for money. The panoramic picture window gives access to a tremendous variety of birdlife plus red squirrels and woodpeckers. The hides are fantastic and the staff and volunteers are very knowlegable and enthusiastic. That plus Ospreys, grebes and of course I you are lucky otters and beavers. Went twice a day for the 4... We did a lovely walk from Dunkeld to the Loch and then spent an hour or so watching the birds. The Ospreys are the star if the show but there are also some other gems. Great Crested Grebes, yellowhammers, siskins and tufted ducks amongst a host of birds. Staff are friendly and knowledgable and hides are well equipped. This is... More

My husband and I are members of the Scottish Wildlife Trust even though we live in Northumberland. We first visited here last year onohr honeymoon and were very impressed so decided to have a return visit on our first anniversary holiday. I create honest reviews based on being newly disabled and a wheelchair/crutches user. I have had problems finding honest... More

We spent a very short time here, but were thrilled to have a good view of one of the Ospreys sitting on the nest, followed by the arrival of the partner bird - marvellous. A must for birdwatchers, but the surrounding area is wonderful to see.

Run by the Scottish Wildlife Trust, this is an excellent birding site with 2 hides providing lovely views over the loch. We had fantastic views of an osprey nest and the male and female birds from our binoculars, on site telescope and camera. Also good views of displaying g c grebes and a large bird feeding station. Their is an... More

Popped up for a quick visit to see the new lady in town. Male flying above us, and female on nest. images on screen fantastic. Hides are amazing and interesting. Staff friendly, helpful and full of information. Could get very busy at weekends and car park is tiny.

I first visited here about 20 years ago & this was my first chance to get back & to be honest couldn't remember much about it either. Only £4 to get in seemed very reasonable & yes it was well worth it. The center has a small shop & a coffee machine & you are greeted with a smile which... More

We took my kids (9,11) here on Easter Sunday to see the Osprey and were in luck! Brilliant views of both the male and female birds and the fixed telescopes were brilliant. We also did a small egg hunt along the banks of the water with a well put together quiz to follow. Both the boys really enjoyed and received... More

The pair of Osprey were still mating and were due to lay eggs any day. The hide is perfect and is split level. The staff are wonderful with a great little drinks machine and windows to watch the garden birds on the feeders.
