One side was given over to painting your own Pottery and the other side sold pottery items eg cups, saucers, plates, toast racks etc.

We love out annual trip to Going Pottie, the kids love it and so do the adults! This year we painted owls, cars, dogs, snails, fairies and a plate! What a brilliant day and they had them ready for us departing on the Saturday! See you next year!! X

I visited with my partner, first time we had done anything like this. We both picked a mug and had an amazing time painting these. Time flew! We must have been in there for 2 hours, great fun just chatting and painting. Very small place but I do like that, very cosy. Would not like to go during a busy... More

Great fun and activity to do when the weather is awful, you can occupy yourself and the children by allowing the creativity to flow. If you're not creative then you can always purchase a piece of their homeware range in cheerful Scottish motifs.

Lovely gifts, would have liked to buy just about everything in the shop!! The owner was very friendly and if I had children with me it would have been a brilliant place to pass an hour or so letting them paint their own pottery. It was a little expensive but nice for unique gifts.

This is just such a lovely paint your own pottery. We've been to several of these with our children and although we've never been disappointed this is definitely the most friendly. Huge choice of items to paint both to take away that day and to leave for firing. The owner is a very talented pottery painter (I don't think I... More

Nice place, friendly and helpful staff. Good activity for all ages. Very enjoyable one day activity with lots of choice in what you make. Cost varies from a few pounds to as much as you want, the choice is yours. There are classes on offer for those who live locally.

I painted a lovely jug with bold sweeping lines. Mainly greens but I can also see some orange speckling in there too. I'm looking at the handle now because I can see the handle of the jug poking out from behind a shoebox that Garry put there this morning. The rest of the jug is obscured by the shoebox so... More
