Small and clean , very easy to observe your kids , many small café options around. Car parks just few yards away. in summary , if you have young kids and looking to spend time in a beach in south England , this is the one you looking for.

Visited here randomly today. Have never seen so many people jammed onto such a small piece of sand ever before (the tide was coming in pretty fast). We walked as far away from the crowds as possible and to be fair it was nice but definitely wouldn't have wanted to have been on that beach today!!

Clean sandy beach when the tide is out. Great for kids with buckets and spades and dog free area. Nearby cafes and parking.

Fantastic sandy corner at low tide for the whole family. Has an annual sand sculpture making competition.

Great beach for bucket and spades with grandchildren, best ice cream near to beach, sadly toilet facilities are revolting , redolent of a prison block and generally dirty and unpleasant, and let's the whole beach down , along with people flouting the no dog rules on what is obviously a family friendly beach .

Gorgeous white sandy beach, adding to that a beautiful sunny weather. It was a very memorable experience for all of us. We will definitely revisit.

As I mentioned in my review for Folkestone harbour this is a very average beach which becomes extremely busy & overcrowded when the tide is in. on the plus side the kids will love building sand castles.

When the sun is out and the sky is blue walking along or sitting on the sunny sands has the feel of a medetranian beach. It's clean and tidy and has lifeguards to help if the need arises. Come on down and build a castle with or without the kids.

Love this small beach- it really is worth a visit. The near- by loos are however an absolute disgrace. Used them to change in this afternoon- flooded floors, no loo roll. Truly hideous. Come on local business or Council sort this out, take some pride in what is otherwise a lovely spot.

Sunny Sands has become a bustling area with cafes' pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance, also the Splash Fountain for the kids..big and small! Big, cheap car park within walking distance on the harbor.
