Having done several Day out with Thomas days at different locations with our train mad 3 year old we did wonder in advance if a light railway/narrow gauge version would be a bit of a let down for him after several full-blown Thomas days else where in the season. We needn't have worried and if anything this was arguably his... More

We booked for 15th November to go see Thomas, it cost £34 for 2 adults and a 3 yr old. We travelled all the way from Scarborough to Huddersfield all excited to get there and be so disappointed. No one checked our tickets to begin with, there was no organisation and we didn't have a clue what was going on,... More

We took our 3yo to today's Day with Thomas, where we met up with her best friend and her parents. From the shrieks of excitement at the beginning of the day to the tired protests on the way back to the car, all six of us had a fantastic experience that was amazing value for money. From the outset, you... More

Took our 2 yr old grandson Harry here as he is mad about Thomas Tank Engine and friends. Fabulous day out, quite pricey to ride on thomas but we went on a dedicated thomas weekend, but well worth it. Harry loved it, we all rode Thomas, James, Toby, Mavis. All stuff outside was free like bouncy castle, model stem rail... More

My family and i had a good time, enough for two hours, not much more, our child enjoyed the train ride and tunnel. However it is expensive ,and you need to consider your budget as not great value as it cost £14 for two adults and one child. We took a picnic to help with costs.

The fares for the train have not increased for 4 years as we have tried to keep the costs as low as possible for our customers. To increase value on the tickets, we have also allowed our customers to enjoy unlimited travel throughout the day on... More

Very poor this year, a spooky ride it was not, there was so few spooks they must have had there own party, the anouncer forgot to turn his mike on and we could hear him going thru his pitch as we were in the rear car. In all not worth the money.

We are sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your experience aboard the Halloween Ghost Train this year as we have noticed you had given us an excellent review for last year's event. Armed with a groupon voucher we found the station and were pleasantly surprised at what there was to see and do. Pulled by Badger we were off up the track. Whistle blowing through a dark tunnel to Shelley station. We had a walk around, a play in the park area then tooted our way back. We had a nice lunch... More

Visited with two kids 5 &9 and had a really nice family day out. Weather was good so we had taken a picnic and ate at the Shelley station whilst waiting for the return train. We bought a groupon voucher for the day and we the kids rode up and down a few times and really enjoyed themselves.
