An excellent place to take to children (or in our case grandchildren) to learn something about Luton's history in a very relaxing and enjoyable way. It is a very children friendly experience with a wide variety of things to do and see. There is a very good museum explaining the various ages,a lovely working garden with an 'Anderson' shelter, a... Not many things these days are free, so well worth a visit. Good qaity food in the cafe. Or plenty of space and seating areas for a picnic. I live within walking distance and take my grandchildren often. They love it.

Not only is this venue an excellent place to spend a few hours but the space exhibition was excellent. The Hubble Space Telescope photos were amazing, whilst at the same time being great education. Its free and well worth a visit.

Lovely mix of exhibits. Carriage collection is fascinating, although some of the carriages are mounted so high on the wall it's difficult to see them, preferred the old layout, but still worth a visit. Good fun for children. Easy parking and free entry. Gardens are lovely and the centre is set in the middle of Stockwood Country Park which has... More
