This is very good for somewhere that is free to get in. There is lots to see and a small outside play area. It does get very busy during school holidays though.

We called in at Stockwood to break up a long journey on the motorway. What an excellent find!! We have two small children and they loved it here. We had a lovely picnic in the gardens, and a walk around the different gardens. The gardens are beautifully kept and are all different styles including a sensory garden. There is a...

I have always like Stockwood, was a place that i went to many times when i was young , so it was nice to go back again. The Discovery centre, next to the golf course, has vehicles of old times with interesting different exhibitions at the end.(The car museum is free but a small charge for the exhibition). This summer...

Very, very rude staff in cafe which should be avoided at all costs, otherwise your day will be ruined!

Went here with daughter and grand children.
They had a dinosaur collection on and although probably overpriced for what it was - and the fact that some of the buttons didn't work to activate the dinosaurs - it was actually a really good day
Went after to look at the motor museum and have a drink and once again it...

However, when it comes to eating lunch or getting a snack there using their cafe. It also takes a quick turn, the food is 'ok' and it crazily over-priced. A bottle of coke, not...

Don't expect staff to help you when you've lost your children. I told them I've lost my children and the assistants and apparently manager just looked at me like i was mad. Then just carried on with there conversation. Got no help or response from the whatsoever. Shame really I thought that it was a great place for children till...
