Excellent visit!!!

Brilliant for the children. Loads to do and café on site for snacks or hot meals or just a coffee. Spent all day and the children loved it.

Took the grandchildren to Stockwood Park and we all [including grandparents] had a great time. The Mossman Collection of stage coaches, not quite vintage cars, etc kept us all interested for well over an hour. The grounds are beautifully kept and the children's playground large enough and varied enough to keep children amused for ages. Being in a flight path... More

The centre makes a great afternoon or day out. The collection was surprising as the objects on display ranged from stagecoaches to vintage vehicles to royal coronation memorabilia. The arrangements were fascinating: vintage vehicles of all sizes and ages stacked up reaching the ceiling; some carriages can be explored and the cabinets of local memories were poignant. There were 'sniffs'... More

Great day out with the kids. The museum was very interesting and my daughter loved it. The restaurant had a decent menu and I really enjoyed their food. The children's playground was ok. Gardens was beautiful.

This is a really nice, cheap play to take the kids. We went whilst they whilst the space exhibition was showing, but they also had raffles, stalls and cake stands which the kids loved. The grounds are beautiful, the outdoor Park and butterfly garden was also a hit. Would highly recommend it to anyone with young children

Stockwood Park is a fabulous park with museum as well as fun area for small children. It is a credit to the area, with a family feel and lovely grounds - particularly good for hide and seek with the youngsters!
