Lots of free stuff to keep kids amused, a playground, the gardens, the indoor activities and the museum means any kid or adult will find something to interest them

A brilliant to take children of school age and over. Lots to do inc dress up and quizzes, lots of hands on challenges for children plus lots and lots to see and learn about. Outside is space to burn of energy before a picnic, or visit the café. this was one of my favourite places both as a parent and... More

Brilliant exhibition showcasing Britain's wonderful wildlife and Natural History from some of the most accomplished Wildlife photographers. An absolute joy and inspiration. As an owner of an enthusiast level camera, I look to see whether any of the photographs displayed have been taken with enthusiast level cameras costing several hundred pounds as opposed to Full frame cameras costing thousands. I went to Stockwood Discovery with a few friends. I wanted to go there for ages but was not sure if it would be worth it. For starters it is free. There are several sections to the Museum and beautiful appointed Period Gardens. There is a outdoor play ground for kids and trust me they will love it. A really... More

The discovery centre is an all rounder for everyone. Educational, pleasure and relaxing. Great if you want to eat your own food too. Cafe quiet expensive but nice. Would recommend this place to all age groups. Great day out.

We went up to Stockwood Park just to see the area and discovered the Discovery Centre. Located in the middle of the park, it held some surprises, making it more like a museum than just a nature information centre. Although we visited in December, we had a great day and plan to return with friends.

A great place to go with or without the kids. Museum, playground, cafe, picnic area, park. What more could you want. I have been many times. No charge. Stay as long as you want. Carpark, toilets, shop all there as well.
