Santa express. Fantastic fun. Both adults (mince pie, sherry) and children (gift from Santa, chocolate, fruit juice) catered for. Fantastic children's entertainer! Friendly staff. Already discussing doing it again next year!

Had a lovely day out, the weather was beautiful so made all the difference. The staff were so friendly. The scenery was beautiful. Had a few hours in Minehead good for shops and eating places. Not much of a beach but lovely being by the sea.

What a great day on the train! My wife, the friend we were staying with in Bristol, & myself drove to Bishops Lydyard for a day out on the steam train. We bought our tickets , had a cuppa in the cafe, & joined the train, sat back & relaxed while we trundled through the countryside enjoying the scenery, chatting &... More

This is the longest preserved heritage line in the UK , about 20 miles long, which takes about 75-80 minutes . There is something about this line which makes it special , and the enthusiasm of the staff is part of it. There are two good shops , one in Minehead , & the other in Bishop's Lydeard being particularly... More

We took food and drinks and at each station passengers got off and sang a couple of carols with the brass band that accompanied the train. Only a couple of small hitches in that the return train did not have enough steam so we had to... More

As a local we always use the WSR whenever family and friends visit, it is a great day out and you can include the dog which means no one misses out on a day trip to the seaside.
