I visited this park on a short visit to Scarborough in February. Even though it was out of season and the amenities were closed it was a very nice park to walk in. There has been a lot of thought put into the layout, it is very picturesque and interesting with something new to attract your attention around each corner.... More

Peasholm is a beautiful park, very well maintained. There is peddle boat hire for a trip around the lake, which is a lovely thing to do regardless of the weather

admittedly, if you want swings and stuff, this wont appeal. But to replace that: putting, a boat on the lake, the Squirrels!!, pitch and putt, ice cream shop, coffee shop, lovely place to sit in the sun and relax...a must if and when U come to scarborough...dont miss it!!!

For some inexplicable reason though, Peasholm park touches a part of my soul that no other place does. It really is greater than the sum of it's parts.... More

Having lived in Scarborough for over 10 years now we often like a nice relaxing stroll on a nice evening and we very often choose Peasholm Park. I went for a walk and to feed the ducks and squirrels. Nice and a bit different to your average park.

A beautiful park close to the North Bay and Open Air Theatre. The foresight of the Borough Engineer in the late 19th Century, envisaged a lake and an island . He could not imagine what a beautiful area it is now with mature trees and natural views. The Chinese theme runs through the park with a small Pagoda on top... More
