This park has a lovely lake with pedlos and rowing boats , lovely wooden carvings and the walk was lovely for the views and the dog. The squirrels and birds were lovely to see and it was a nice clean attraction with parking close by.

This park has a place in my heart, having enjoyed it for many years with my daughter. Now she takes her own daughter to this park to feed ducks, geese and squirrels. Well established and maintained, there is boating, a cafe, ice-cream hut, Japanese style bridges and garden with a variety of trees. In the summer, there is a naval... More

We went with my 3yr granddaughter and enjoyed walking / running around feeding the birds & squirrels. Beautiful scenery. There is a cafe if you need refreshments but we went over the road to the Teasmaid.

Visited here during October school holidays and so glad we did. It's a beautifully well kept park, with lovely cafe (special mention must go to the service we received in there - made the kids day after staff gave them bread and nuts to feed the ducks and squirrels). Great for once just to slow the pace and wander around.... More

This place has not changed much over the years and that is a compliment. Visited most recently on a beautiful Autumnal day and the colours were simply stunning. Nice to see the paddle boats still being used this late in the season ( although I fancied a game of pitch and putt, but that was closed :( ) and the... More

Always clean and well tended . The staff are cheerful and helpful. One of the things I like best is that it is a safe , friendly place. You don't get any groups of drinkers or threatening people around
