Peasholm Park was opened in 1912 and quickly became a favourite venue for galas, displays and exhibitions. Although a little park there are numerous attractions to keep the family busy and entertained and is extremely well maintained. It was very pleasant to stroll around the park and see so many people enjoying walking their dogs and feeding the ducks. All this despite the frozen lake with seagulls walking across the lake.Always a pleasant experience

We visited twice walking the dogs. The first time we went in at the middle and walked down to the lake where there was so much going on. There are rides on the lake and plenty of places to sit to take it all in. The second time we went in from the top but only walked half way down... More

It was 8th January and a bright sunny day so decided to walk round the park. Even in the winter it has been planted up and looks clean and tidy even the toilets were open which was good. But what I saw looked amazing, a very big park, lovely grounds and a small steam train on the other side of the road, if we had been there longer, would have gone there like a shot

Day out in Scarborough and decided to visit an old location with fond memories. My husband used to come here and watch evening shows, well worth seeing what is on. This place is so peacefull i love the boat lake theres ducks etc to feed a miniature railway some lovely walks and at night its all lit up my wife and daughter went to see Olly Mers near here watch out for the summer entertainment the lake is my favourite i could sit there all day and just drink it...
