I have visited Peasholm Park every time I have been to Scarborough and have been doing so from being a child. It is just a lovely park for all ages, with wildlife, boats, and plenty of seating areas.

Squirels will feed straight from your hands!!!! Make sure you take nuts for them and bread for the birds. We were there in feb. Very cold but it was nice walking through the park next to the lake. Ive been coming here since i was a child and will keep coming back.

This has been going for years and only runs certain times of the year. It's so good all children should get the chance to go as it is something you never forget. So clever the way they do it. You see smoke coming out of the ships and everything. Just go.

I may be biased, but i never tire of walking around here. The Squirrel population along with the overall size, plus pegoda and lake make this a "must do" during any holiday break whether short or long. Yes there is a cafe and toilet facilities

Every time we visit Scarborough, as well as a visit to the beach we also visit Peasholm. This time we enjoyed watching the squirrels running around and enjoying the peanuts that family's were giving them, We will probably return in the warmer months and go on the min railway and enjoy the mini golf too

Me and my boyfriend had a lovely mid-afternoon walk around Peasholm Park. The scenery is lovely. I got some beautiful photos! I love the Chinese theme to it. This park is beautiful and I definitely recommend it as a day out in spring or summer!

This park was lovely to walk around, even in November. There is a large lake and streamside walks with waterfalls that are really picturesque. The children really enjoyed seeing the tame squirrels that follow you and will take food from your hand. As we visited on a rainy day in winter, the boats weren't operating, but they looked good fun.... More

this little gem has been rated one of the 10 best in the UK. Created by a visionary town engineer in the 1900s it is inspired by the Willow Pattern so everything is Chinese-themed. There's an island with a tiny arched bridge, a pagoda, a waterfall, a floating bandstand, pavilions, dragon-headed furnishings, dragon and swan pedal boats, and miniature re-enactments... More
