Can only think that the average visitor to scarborough simply isn't interested in the museum side of scarboroughs attractions. Rotunda very interesting, love the plesiosaur skeleton and the Bronze Age man skeleton, and the top room contains many interesting artefacts if you stop to take the time. We bought adult tickets (children free!) that also included the Art gallery, a... More

At only £3 per adult this is a great way to kill an hour. The interactive Jurassic Scarborough map was a particular highlight as was the skeleton of Gristhorpe Man !!

Entry to this museum was free for under 18s and only £3 per adult. This is for a year ticket though, aswell as entry into Scarborough art gallery too. It's only a small museum and didn't take us that long to go round, however we did enjoy it and there was lots of fossils, dinosaur facts and a small dinosaur... More

Although I visit Scarborogh every year for the last 6 years I have never been to the Rotunda as it was expensive. This year they have combined the entrance fee for the Art Gallery ( always brilliant) for £3 , so I paid the Rotunda a visit I was very disappointed. The building is lovely and has much potential but... More

Not a lot to see but what there is on display is quite interesting. Ticket lasts for a year but I do not think we will be going back in the near future.

It may be small but it's well formed. My kids (aged 5 and 6) and husband could have spent hours there exploring all kinds of curiosities. My son especially enjoyed seeing the dinosaur bones. Cafe next door lovely as well and reasonably priced.

Not the best museum we've visited but you feel you must support it. Would like to see more on the history of Scarborough. One day there will be a 'History of the Seaside Resort' museum and I think it should be here.

Odd little museum in an interesting building. Adults pay, children are free. Only £3/adult and you can use your ticket to go back as many times as you like for a year. They have a dinosaur exhibition and two other exhibition rooms. We enjoyed it very much.
