This attractive, airy barn conversion serves well presented meals at reasonable prices. The staff were pleasant but didn't know at the time of ordering that they had no sausages for the "Farmer's Hearty Breakfast"! Apologies later made it was decided extra bacon would compensate. The quality of there farm produce in this meal is usually spot on. Indeed, the black... More

I recently went here for lunch with some friends. There was a lovely choice of local home made food, all freshly prepared and delicious and good value for money. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed, ad everywhere was clean and tidy. There is a nice sun lounge and tables outside in a nice garden area. Well worth... More

Popped in one Saturday afternoon for 'Afternoon Tea' with husband, teenager and toddler. Nice menu choices, including fab finger platter for the little one. The food served was fresh, tasty and very filling! Staff were polite and friendly and the area was clean and tidy. Must appeal to a mixed customer base as there were families, mums meeting or coffee... More

We went here for a two year olds birthday party and we're really impressed. There was plenty of room for the children to run around and play, an excellent adventure area for older children and lots of toys for the littlies to play with. There were farm animals that the children could go and see. Brilliant facilities. There was also... More

We first called in because of the farm shop, and then spotted the free children's play area. We were amazed at such a variety of play equipment for under 5s. My 2 year old son was in his element, his eyes lit up and he wandered off to have fun. The animals (except the cockerel who I was wary of)... More

We took our two young children with us to meet friends and didn't know what to expect. There is a small collection of farm animals which children can get close to and a playground for younger children. The farm/gift shop is very reasonanble; selling amongst other things - farmhouse/home baked foods. There is a kitchen showroom and a fishing tackle/bait... More

We only came across this place after reading about it in a leaflet we picked up on holiday. We must have been past on numerous occasions and never realised it was there. There isn't a great deal here, just a play area, a few animals, a bee exhibit and a couple of workshops. The reason i gave it a 4... More

have camped on this site for several years with previous owners and was fantastic - unfortunately, new owners found to be rude and unwelcoming, prices more than doubled! stayed at another local campsite and had a fantastic holiday! shame, as used to love this place!!!
