We were staying on the site and got free entry to the museum so decided to go have a look, we were met by the most lovely, happy, smiley staff ive EVER met anywhere! All really seemed to enjoy working there and happily chatted to you. Special mention to Michael in the cafe who was most helpful and our favourite... More

We got in free admission as a famliy as we stayed at the Flower of May and got free admission as a familly, which was a treat. The fairground rides u had to pay £1 per ride - which i thought was a bit pricey, esp when the kids wanted to go on more than once on the rides. I... More

On a wet and windy Wednesday my family and I were on the lookout for something different to do. We visited The Scarborough Fair Collection, not really knowing what to expect. What a lovely surprise we had upon entering this magical place. There was something for everyone and plenty to see and do. We particularly loved the old fashioned rides... More

We were staying in the area and saw this on a leaflet. It looked quite interesting and wasn't far away so we took a chance. The family ticket was good value for large families (we took 4 children aged 6, 13, 13, 16). We knew rides were £1 extra although the carousel ride was free with entry. The old vehicles... More

Enjoyed the attractions and how often they ran. Decent prices as well. Everything nicely presented and informative. Friendly staff. Had toasties and tea from the cafe which were nice. Ballroom lovely and impressed that all attractions were in working condition. Organist was a nice touch. Just one star off as service was a bit slow and more could be made... More

On our recent visit we thought we would check out the fair as i always remember loving this as a child. However, its extremely small and outdated and could prove quite expensive for a family.

We are not a "fair" but a museum of Vintage Vehicles, Motor Cycles, Steam Engines, Mechanical Organs, Showman's Engines, Theatre Organs and not forgetting 10 very vintage traditional Fairground Ground rides and much much more. The organists playing the "Mighty" Wurlitzers entertain on various day's. So sorry you didn't enjoy the experience. More

Have visited twice with parents and children aged from 7-12. This is a great day out and has lots to keep all ages interested and entertained. The downside to the attraction is the cost. For two adults, one child the cost is £20.00, the cost of the rides is then extra. Though the rides are good, very old fashioned fun,... More

If you have ever thrilled at the sound of a fairground organ or old style carousel, or listened to a theatre organ, this is heaven. Being thursday afternoon, Mike Lester gave a 2 hour recital on the 1937 Wurlitzer. In the breaks, different mechanical organs were played. Just about everything in the collection is in full working order. The colection... More

The Scarborough Fair Collection is a wonderful mix – part funfair, part museum, part ballroom all under cover so the British weather can’t spoil the experience! It is situated about 6 miles south of Scarborough town centre on the Flower of May Holiday Park, plenty of free parking is available. Exhibits include many fine organs that actually work, historic fairground... More

Just to warn visitors who bring dogs on holiday in Yorkshire this is yet another no dog venue. Yorkshire appears not to welcome dogs in most places. Such a shame.

Apologies but we only accept Accessibility dogs. Dog's are aloud on the Caravan Park with a fabulous cliff top dog walk to explore but unfortunately the policy is that dog's are not aloud in the museum. More
