After visiting the Sea Life Centre, we decided to continue our afternoon out with a trip on the train. We have a 'Thomas'-mad 3 year old who was absolutely delighted with the trip. It cost just over £9 for 2 adults and 1 child. We were met by the very friendly guard who called himself the fat controller much to... More

A very pleasant ride through the park to the seafront and sealife centre. My 2 year old grandson loved it on the little trains. The people running the trains were very nice ans obliging.

This is not the longest railway wou will find, but a pleasant ride none the less. It runs from the entrance to Peasholme Park to Scalby Mills and at the time of our visit in April was £3.90 for an adult return. It runs regularly and at busy times they run two trains up and down on a 15 minute... More

A fantastic miniature train which takes you from Peasholm to the Sea Life Centre at Scalby Mills - the journey takes around 12 minutes, past the water chute and Open Air Theatre - the scenery as you reach the Bay is spectacular. The train is clean and well maintained, and the staff are all very friendly. Thoroughly recommend this and... More

Have travelled on this delightful railway on two seperate occasions this Easter with five children, eight adults and two Dalmatians. Everyone enjoyed their journey, the views, the friendliness of the staff and waving to people that we passed. It's a wonderful, unspoilt seaside treat.

Went with my partner and little boy and although it is a short train ride it was enjoyable and the boy loves it, just don't waste your money at the sea life centre at the other end !

I took my Grandfather on this railway as he is a fan of steam and he really enjoyed the ride. He particularly liked watching the steam engine going round on the turntable.
