A lovely little minature railway situated opposite Peasholm Park. Take the time to take a ten minute trip to the Sea Life Center or the Pirate pitch and putt at the end of the journey. You can walk there but what’s the fun in that?

A cornerstone, the miniature train has been an integral part of a Scarborough visit from childhood to adulthood- unfortunately it's starting to go the same way as a real railway, by risking pricing people off it - a single ticket is already at £3-odd.

Hi. What a delight this miniature railway is. Obviously Dr Beeching didn't get his hands & his chopper! on this railway. Situated at the North Bay attractions it really is charming. Smell of steam & soot is just brill, had it on my clothes when back at home...excellent! Open carriages make it even more thrilling especially for the young uns.... More

What fun to ride on this miniature railway! My wife and I walked around the marine drive from the South to the North Bay, and then took this jolly trip back to the town. The ride takes about 8 minutes - and you just can't help the impulse to wave at the people you pass. A very special Scarborough treat!

A very nice miniature railway. Not a very long journey but well worth the trip. Situated at the North Bay, there are many things to see on your journey.

This is the 3rd year we have been on the Santa special with our 7 & 6 year old grandchildren and it gets better every year. The children are entertained and involved from the start to end. Excellent value for all the family and lovely appropriate presents. The railway staff enjoy and encourage the children

Used to go on this as a child. Now I am taking my grandchildren. It's quite changed - more comfortable I guess - and maybe the rickety rides I had in the 50's were part of the excitement. If you've got children, no visit to Scarborough is complete without a trip on this. I don't think it runs in winter... More
