Great day out for the family fair price for the train and a lovely walk if you don't catch the train

Fantastic views and great history. a little disappointed with prices for such a short run. Coaches look ridiculous and show no respect for history of the line. Staff were great and very accomodatiing in shed tour.

We had a great time with the kids (aged 5 and 6) climbing on the Sky Trail. I have no head for heights - in fact, I suffer from depth perception difficulties - but you're in a harness with an umbilical cord connected at all times to a cleverly designed run. Staff friendly and helpful too - didn't make you... More

Lovely trip from the park to the mill....where you can have a meal, drink or ice cream. There is the sealife centre, a crazy golf course and of course the beach. The trip only takes about 5 mins each way, and we felt it was a little pricy for such a short journey. Tip - if the weather allows...always use... More

My children are obsessed with trains so it was a no brainer to try north bay railway as it was reasonably priced and well located. The ride was quite short but had some lovely views and takes you to the sealife centre, my kids loved it and the staff were lovely.

Only a short ride but goes from the North bay to the Sea Live Centre. Lovely views all the way. The staff are always friendly and chatty and will answer any questions about the railway.

This was a great addition to our day in Scarborough. The trains and carriages are beautiful and the views over the North Bay are stunning.

Two 50-somethings went on our first trip from Peasholm Park to Scalby Mills (7/8 of a mile). It was strangely exhilarating, though in slow motion. We boarded a well-kept carriage pulled along by the 1931 Triton engine. The staff are lovely, well-informed and very entertaining. Really enjoyed it.

A short journey along the front, but full of charm and well kept. Great views of the sea - well done!

This is a great little railway which has been going for many years. It used to be run by the council but now is in private hands. It is fantastic to be pulled by one of four vintage engines one built in 1931 one in 1932 an the other in 1933. The have also recently created an aerial platform adventure... More
