I have had the pleasure of umpiring a local league cricket match at Scarborough, and its tremendous ground. Atmosphereic, scenic ground. All the staff and players are friendly, nice dressing rooms and I always look forward to umpiring a game here.

Lovely ground and fantastic atmosphere when full for a Yorkshire game. Good bar area and no bad views altho you will need a cushion if sat on the pop bank.

The cricket ground at Scarborough is far more intimate than at Headingley. Children (and others) are allowed to play their own games on the outfield when play is not in progress. The standard of cricket played during Festival Week is of the highest quality.

Lovely ground and loads of cricket throughout the season - amateur and pro. Take a sun hat as there is no shade.

I've been to Scarborough dozens of times since I was a kid and odd times my dad has taken me here to watch cricket (Yorkshire play a few home games per season on this ground). He grew up on the old Scarborough Cricket Festivals and while the ground doesn't quite see these packed houses anymore, it's still a brilliant place... More

We watched Yorkshire v Sussex on the third day. Very friendly staff, great atmosphere. Loved that we could get a pass out and return when we wanted.

I travelled up to watch part of the festival and really enjoyed my day at the cricket ground. I was amazed the number of supporters that enjoy attending the festival. The ground has alot of character and is well worth spending a session watching from different parts of the ground.Enjoyed numerous visits to the tea room during the day where... More

along with my friends we have just been to the sussex match which was very enjoyable especially for us biased yorks fans, but I am writing this in appreciation for the hard working staff etc who work in the tea room on the ground not only do they provide excellant food and drinks but the prices are very fair indeed... Never actually went in to this attraction, however I could see from the promenade that this castle had been an important structure in its day. If I had more time I would have possibly ventured in. Scarborough on a hole is a very clean resort (in comparison to its North West Counterpart of Blackpool). Although, not my cup of tea.... More
