I had never visited a donkey sanctuary before. It was amazing, the animals looked so well cared for, wherever you looked everything was clean and well maintained. The cafe is good, the shop is ok, they could maybe make a bit more of that area but staff everywhere were very helpful and friendly. Would suit visits from all ages.

Very impressed by the surroundings and level of care given to these donkeys. Hard to believe they have taken care of so many - and that there are 600 plus there now. Nice to see some young ones amongst the veterans.

Called into the donkey sanctuary as we were passing. It is set in lovely countryside. Lots of different walks to see the donkeys. The donkeys are taken good care of, and they rely on donations only. The food in the cafe is very nicer. Worth a visit

Excellent place to visit for everyone. Loads of walks and donkeys everywhere. Could have easily stayed all day. Nice to visit a place that is totally free and is not trying to rip you off with extortionate parking and entry fees. They just rely on donations which you are more than willing to give to such a good cause. Well... More

This place is a gem! Its free to go in, they allow dogs in and there is so much to do you can easily spend the whole day there. My 9 year old thought it was wonderful as he could groom the donkeys and walk among them. The maze was a added treat too!

It was decided on a last minute that we would check out the donkey sanctuary after I had read a few reviews and heard some stories about the place. It was an easy drive with no traffic, not a hard location to find at all. Had we known that they had such a cute picnic area we would have brought... More

We were taken my family that had been before. It's very clean and well looked after. The history behind the sanctuary and the donkeys. It's well signed with more than adequate information about the donkeys. Love the fact that each person who donates gets a mention on boards on the walls. Take some time to check this out.

This donkey sanctuary is the real deal. It is large, well kept and appears to be well managed. We visited in the mid-afternoon and realized that this is a whole day affair, especially if you are one to take the trouble to read the text displays and watch the videos. Entrance is free but there are plenty of opportunities to... More
