A good café and an excellent place to go for a walk. Make sure that you have good outdoor shoes or wellies if it's wet. The place is very well organised and immaculate.

This is a great day out for free - donkeys are worth coming to see alone and there are great walks and a nice cafe. In summer the free bus stops here.

A true memory maker, my 3 year old had a great time grooming the donkeys and doing the treasure trail of spotting little knitted donkeys around the farm. Recommend a visit to the cafe too! Beautiful paninis... More

If you love animals, love being outside and love the Devon countryside, this is the place to be. Free to park, free to get in and lots of donkeys to see and interact with. The Hayloft Restaurant serves great coffee, breakfasts, lunches and yummy cakes. A relaxing and informative visit.

We were in Devon for one purpose - to visit the Donkey Sanctuary daily. Our holiday cottage was on the border of the sanctuary and we woke up to the sound of donkeys.
