The Donkey sanctuary is a lovely place to take your children whilst on holiday. If you need a break from the sea and sand you will love this.

Free to get in and beautiful gardens and walks to suit all. Donkeys are well looked after as well as having a cafe and gift shop on site. You can also walk down to the beach (approx 2 1/2 mile round trip) but beware can be steep at times but my 2 children aged 5 and 9 managed it.

Wow. I had wanted to visit the donkey sanctuary for AGES so when I was asked what I wanted to do for my birthday this year, there was no question. We both thoroughly enjoyed our time here meeting the resident donkeys all of whom look so happy and well loved/cared for. If I was a donkey this is the place... More

This is a treat for anyone that loves animals. These donkeys are kept in the best conditions imaginable. There's loads of things to do for visitors. The dining options are great. There's nothing I can

You can take as little or as long as you like. Take a picnic, enjoy the views & the donkeys, all for a donation!

It is free, but please give a donation for a good day out. You can get close up & personal with the donkeys who as always are very entertaining. A good chance to see first hand what this charity does. The restaurant is clean with friendly staff & a good menu. Plenty of areas to walk & always a seat... More

The first thing you have to say is how lovely that there is no entrance charge. they do have donation points all over the place and it is really easy to donate when you see the fantastic work they do looking after so many Donkeys. To be able to walk in amongst the donkeys and smooth them was really fantastic,... More

This is a very popular venue that relies on donations ( no entrance fee ) so it is an ideal family day out. On our recent visit we were disappointed that we did not see the Donkeys out in the yard where they often approach visitors for a cuddle. There is a very good cafe on site that serves among... More
