We had a brilliant day at such an amazing place. We didn't really expect much as we got there and parked in the car park but soon realized this was an absolutely lovely place. There is so much to see and do and it is such a large site and you can hear donkeys braying in every direction. Endless fields... More

Heart warming to see Donkeys rescued from dreadful circumstances in some cases and nursed back to health. The staff are dedicated to their welfare and always happy to talk to you. Lots of parking and free entry, all they ask is that if you are able to you make a donation.

Visited here on a Saturday with the Grandparents and my 7 and 5 year old. Had a great time and the kids really enjoyed it too. Not cost to enter although you can make a voulantary contribution. Plenty of beautiful walks and contented looking donkeys. Short walk accross the road was a brilliant maize which the kids loved. Nice spot... More

This is a lovely place to visit if you like donkeys. The donkeys are very well kept and looked after, staff very friendly. The café was very good and served good cakes!

We were going on holiday to devon so planned to stop at the donkey sanctuary on the way. Lots of parking. Entrance is free and there is places in the donkey sanctuary where you can make a donation. We spent a couple of hours here. Most of the donkeys came up to the fence so people could easily touch them. The... More

Took one of my grandsons (4yrs old) here during the Easter holidays. Sadly he was not impressed - too many donkeys just standing around, looking sad, and not close enough to stroke. Basically not enough action for him. However plenty of walks and "donkey paths" to amble along spending as much time as you want. We ate our picnic here and... More

Visited here over Easter with my partner and his mum. We had a lovely walk around the quarantine area where the donkeys were genuinely happy to see you. I have included a photo of my favourite who galloped over to see us. We got lost in the maze wandered through the main centre and stopped off for the obligatory magnet... More

It was my first visit I thought that there were lots to see but not much to do really. Apart from interacting with the donkeys themselves. There is a maze which is fun a gift shop which is just donkey related and expensive. You can groom a donkey for the cost of £3 why they would want to charge you... More
