We visited last week with friends from overseas. Our guide was very quickly spoken, even though she knew we had foreigners with us, and they either couldn't hear her, or make out what she was saying, which was a bit of a let down for them. Including us, there were only 7 people on the tour. The overall experience was... More

We visited on a day where there was no brewing happening. Alas, the tour guide was very knowledgable and answered all of our questions.

Great all-round experience - friendly, knowledgeable staff who were very happy to explain the intricacies of making such a great whisky.

Took the 'full' tour at £10 which includes 2 whiskers to taste st the end of the tour - both of which were very nice and the reserved being excellent. The tour is informative, points out what they do differently and the guide was very informed and answered all the group questions Yes is the answer it is worth doing... More

We turned up here on a Saturday morning having seen from the website that it opened at 1000. What the site didn't say was that the first tour started at 1030. In spite of that they gave us a tour soon after 1000, just for the two of us. Our guide, Annie, was very good and explained the whole process... More

It was instructive that though there were only 8 of us on the tour this was more than the entire distillery staff. Well paced, informative tour. Clear and interesting finished off with a generous dram or two.

Visited today with an uncle visiting from Canada, we picked Lochnagar because it's reasonably local but so so pleased we did. It still does things in the traditional way, no computers, no production line, just the art of making whisky the way it was meant to be done. Our Guide Annie was fantastic, not just about Lochnagar but about the... More
