This is a fab place to visit and it is free ! donation to car park optional but a couple of quid wouldnt hurt as the area is fantastic. A few issues - some people bit careless with dogs - inconsiderate letting them run off lead can be a bit disturbing - the cafe is.............. erm EXPENSIVE - with slices... More

Every time we visit England we make sure we go to Harrold-Odell Country Park. The little restaurant serves delicious meals and has quite a good variety considering the tiny kitchen. The desserts are fabulous and home-made. If the weather is good, the lake is beautiful, take a walk around and see the wildlife. A great place for families with young... More

Great tea room but a bit expensive, so you may want to bring a picnic. They have a little play area and skate ramp for older kids. The walk around the lake is very scenic and not too long. Buy a bag of seed for 20p outside the shop and feed the ducks on your way around

A group of die hard runners and cyclist have been using the cafe for a few years, mainly in the winter, and although the food is good, service is slow and bills are high. However recently on a glorious day we went there after a cycle ride. All tables taken inside, but no problem as there are picnic tables outside... More

Scenic park in the pretty village of Harrold. Lots of wildlife, free parking, good quiet places but also an ice cream van, toilets and a good café.

The food here is good but it seems overpriced for what they offer. The views across the park and the lake are spectacular especially if there is room to sit on the terrace. Very busy at weekends.

We go to harrold quite often and always enjoy our walk around the lake whatever the season . Lots of dogwalkers, families enjoying picnics. Nice coffee shop. Lovely homemade cakes. Toilet facilities by coffeeshop at entrance to park only. Nice new toddler play area in this area also and skating area and ball hoops. At the far end of the... More

Always a good day out with the babies as they love the play park. The cafe is nice and serves good food at decent prices.
