Went here on a Sunday in late November, as a family of 4 on a weekend away , with children aged 16 & 13. Had a great time- although it wasn't too busy. it's not an out right swim pool - it's a fun pool. It's never going to be Centre Parcs, more like Butlins - and as a municipal... More

came here thinking you could get a decent swimming session but it is more a fun pool with a water slide, the slide was fun but the place was too busy, you were kinda paddling in a queue to get round the pool. The steam room was good although you had to walk up the stairs by the gym to... More

Well, there are some good points and bad points about this place but the over all objective for my day was to ensure that I had a quality day out with my 9 year old daughter and that she left with a smile on her face. In that respect they deserve a 5 star rating. Bad bits, it's looking a... More

Visited on a teacher training day in November with two children aged 10 and 7, so it wasn't too busy and we all had an excellent time. All the facilities were open, including the flumes which was a bonus as we were expecting them to be closed being outside of the holidays. The quiet pool was nice to get away... More

The slide is great fun, for all age groups, with a more open swimming area that is great fun when the waves are turned on! The maze part, bar when the waves are on of course can be relaxing as well as the outdoor area. There is a children's swimming part with shallower waters for those just learning to swim... More

Visit here often with the kids, great fun for all the family. Parking good and slides are excellent. Tom x

As a previous reviewer said, I think you need to appreciated this is an older pool and cannot be fairly compared with very modern facilities. Given you are there to swim its not too bad although those waiting around will not have the most pleasant time.

They have changed the relax and swim times and given more time to mother and baby swimming. I think they presume that because you are a pensioner that you get up at the crack of dawn. I know it is important for children to swim but it would be nice if we could have just one morning without them.

Summer break would possibly be the worst time to attend - swimmers are put on a coloured band time span, peak time had orange bands, which only gave us 1 hour of swimming time. The pool was full of people, and during the wave warnings, there is hardly any room to move. Just swimming in a corner is bother, without... More

This pool is very well used but because of the large amount of People that use it I can honestly say that the experience of it is not the best and you often find you are jostled as you swim and try and enjoy yourself. Too many people in one space for me!
