I dont understand people they all have to visit here .. so nice. It is only a couple of minutes away from the main shopping area and merits a return visit as, like all museums, you always see something new every time.

Took the 2 granddaughters for the first time and found plenty to interest them and will definitely keep taking them back as they get older. We also went to the café for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the variety of food on offer for all ages.

A must see place if new to Cumbria. Lots of interesting facts to be learned. Lots of activities to take part in. Get a chance to dress up in Victorian clothing.

Brought my grandchildren back here following a very successful school trip. I have been to Carlisle many times, albeit shopping or bringing the car in for servicing. However a visit to Tullie House is a must even if you are not interested in history. It is only a couple of minutes away from the main shopping area and merits a... More

Seated outside in the historic garden on a pleasant Summers Day. A lovely selection of salads and hot food both of which are delicious. Good sized portions and reasonably priced. Peaceful area away from the hustle bustle of the city centre, yet just a stones throw away from the shops....... worth a visit.

Came to carlile while staying in dent, was planning to go to carlile castle but it was closed. Instead we decided to got to the nearby tulise house museum and art gallary. When we bought our tickets (£7 entry so on the pricy side) they asked if we also wanted to see war games, an exhibition of military toys, we... More

This is a place where i have got as far as the entrance changed my mind a few times as decided was not for me. It is one of the best museums out and covers the full history of the Carlisle area. Took a long time to go around and stuff for all ages. Very good cafe on the ground... More
