Betty Blue Eyes - a great production by all and especially Betty, the pig who was so life-like and winsome.

Three of us went to the March 31st evening performance, expecting no more than to be pleasantly diverted. The show was a riot - fast paced, expertly performed and well presented. The minimalist set was versatile and up to the challenge of presenting both interiors and exteriors. The plot is a paper-thin tale of skullduggery during the postwar rationing era.... More

I have been visiting the Mercury since I was a child (over 35 years) and have never been disappointed but this was one of the best shows I have ever seen there, we could not fault it, every actor was brilliant, extremely well cast, they could all sing and dance and it truly was a great night out. The acting, singing and dancing was 1st class and as good as the West End. It was also a real ensemble piece with everybody involved. The set was amazing, and ingeniously put together.... More

This was a real treat - a professional and frothy, fun-filled evening of singing and dancing in a clever set with an extraordinary performance from Betty and her puppeteer

What an amazing show. Didn't really know what to expect but it was so enjoyable. The stage settings were brilliant too and the singing and dancing were first rate. I recommend you go and see this wonderful production at The Mercury Theatre.

Easy to get to and seen some really good plays there. Loved it. I think I may have gone before April 2013 but still the same applies. Lovely venue, good seats, close parking.
