An amusing if somewhat touching account of how a parent tries to deal with their child being diagnosed as having autism. Hats off to all concerned for a great performance.

A really lovely theatre with loads of leg room which these days is quite unusual. They put on brilliant productions & also have touring productions. They have a very nice bar for a pre theatre drink & interval drink. The staff are. Dry helpful too. It's a real little gem.

We saw Miles Jupp's tour date at The Mercury, part of their comedy festival. His "frustrated posh father of four" act was good, but stretched a bit thin over two hours. The theatre has no bad seats (we were in L28 and L29), the temperature was fine and the parking is easy. Interesting that he used an old-fashioned hand microphone... More

An extremely well performed production. A light hearted take on a serious issue, striking just the right balance of comedy to thought provoking comments. By staging this production in the much smaller studio theater was perfect to maintain an intimate performance, and encourage audience participation, and allowed the characters to 'bond' with the audience.

wondeful show, both moving and humorous, done with sensitivity and truly portrayed autism and what it is like to live with some one with it

A very enjoyable evening very well produced and performed: a very good show that deserved a bigger audience. Grandparents will love it but there were also younger people in the audience who appeared to be just as enthusiastic. You don't have to be a doctor to appreciate a comedy set in a hospital and you don't need to be a... More

We read the Daily Mail review of this show and thought it sounded just the thing for us - having six young grandkids ourselves who give us a lot of laughs (and wear us out!). We booked on the spur of the minute and weren't disappointed. It was a very clever show, well performed with some excellent singing and piano... More

A brilliant musical comedy, very true to life, a must for grandparents. The Mercury knows how to put a show on successfully.
