There is no charge for the museum and its very well set out inside providing an insight into Rotherhams history and the Walker family who owned the house. Gift shop and cafe and usually activities happening for children. some of the exhibitions are interactive making it more interesting for children. the staff are always very accomodating and helpful.

The museum is undergoing a facelift and from what I have already seen, it is absolutely superb! One of the best features is the small cafe, where you can get a quick bite to eat and the staff are very friendly. A must see if you are visiting the area.

I used to come here as a child and now I have taken my teenager and 19 month old. I love the room for the children, the museum has changed a lot since I was a child and is family friendly. The staff are very knowledgable and the food is great in the cafe, there are also so renovations upstairs... More

Visited with family whilst walking through the Park. I had not visited for a while but the refurbishment and the addition of the little cafe is a great addition to the museum. Whilst there's plenty to see and do the cafe is a welcomed rest spot. Worth a visit :)

Visited here (06/02/14) as Clifton Park Museum became Rotherham's wedding venue for civil marriages in December 2013 and this is where I want to get married. I used to visit the museum quite regularly as a child and absolutely loved the different exhibitions and artefacts it has to offer. As local people will probably know, Nelson the lion always stood... Visited the Museum over the Christmas period. Whilst some interesting things for me it lacked any real spark. In real need of new attractions. The cafe staff were friendly but the food and drink was far to expensive for what you actually got.

my daughter loved our trip to the museum, you can get some free activity sheets as you enter and you have to find things around the museum, the café is only tiny but the food was nice and a good price, there is a gift shop selling the usual stuff
