Unfortunately, we picked a time (Monday morning) when the archive staff weren't present, but other members of staff were extremely... More

Not many things are free these days, the museum is interesting, educational and will take about an hour to walk around. It is well worth a visit before or after visiting Clifton Park which is fantastic for kids.

The museum is great. Some disturbing stuffed animals though, including a 2 headed kitten and a huge bear which used to be sent into schools. I remember him towering above me in infant school being scared to eat my dinner
