I have to admit I was sceptical about Butlins, not least of all because of the negative comments on Tripadvisor, but I decided to see for myself, we went over August bank holiday and aside from the crowds had a fun time, the water place is fab if crowded, don't go close to closing time because showers and changing rooms... We visited Butlins for the second year running as the kids had enjoyed it so much last year. On arrival, we were upgraded to gold which I was really pleased about as last year I had been so disappointed with the silver apartments. I felt a little less special when I realised they had turned all the silver three bedrooms... More

Spent a day there with my grandchild and wife, Pluses... Funfair no real waiting. Food fresh and plentiful Splashworld out of this world, great amenity. Cons..... The rest... Most of the adventure areas for children had to be paid for. Anyone spending £700 -£1300 for accomodation at Butlins should expect 90% of the entertainment to be free. WELL it's not.... More

I have been coming to Butlins for 55 years now and have always had a great time. Obviously there have been changes in that time but one thing remains the same - there is plenty of fun to be had, come rain or shine, all at a fair price. One of the main attractions is the wonderful pool building- this... More

We went into Butlins for a day visit, we took our two granddaughters, age 10 and 12, they thoroughly enjoyed the day, we bought a family ticket £60, we spent the morning on the fun fair, a couple of hours in the pool, then back to the fair. Butlins are very safety conscious with height restrictions on all the rides.... More

We have bought our own caravan here and are so pleased we have. Compared to other sites, the fees we pay include so much more. The caravan site is tidy, quiet and lovely to be on, away from the hustle and bustle of actual Butlins across the road (well, you go under the road to get to it- very easy!)... More

I have recently stayed at Butlins in Minehead with my grandchildren, This was my first time and I was very surprised how good it was. The Red coats were very good with the children even when my youngest grandson wandered off there was some one to look after him and reunite us with him, although I did wonder why they... More

We have just returned from a last minute short break at Butlins, this was our first time and we loved it. We managed to get a two bed apartment which was ideal, the rooms were spacious and we were surprised to find that washing up liquid, toilet rolls, tea towels and tea, coffee and sugar were provided. There was even... More

Booked a last minute 4 night break at Bognor as the price was very reasonable. As a single mother going with her two daughters aged 8 & 10. I felt completely comfortable with the resort environment, it's layout and safety in the daytime and in the evening. For a reasonable extra cost, there is such a wide variety of activities... More
