You cant describe how beautiful the beaches are in Dorset, you need to experience them for yourself, but my favourites are sandbanks and studlands, Studlands is one of the most beautiful beaches you will ever see. Again you need to experience it to understand. Gary (Manchester)

I read all the reviews for Sandbanks and it wasn't until my last day of a week holidaying in Poole that I drove around to the 'spit' of land on the end of the town. Well what a wonderful surprise. There is a much better view of the harbour at Poole and it is just so beautiful and scenic. The... More

This has got to be the best beach in the UK, so clean and the "dog beach" cleaner than any other beach i have seen in the uk. Tea/coffee nearby reasonably priced. I urge anyone to visit this pristine, little peace of heaven.

Sandbanks is gorgeous, surrounded with beautiful beaches and places to eat, you should def try Jazz Café and Café SHore. A day out for all ages.

Well worth a visit to see the sights of sandbanks. It is also worth a walk around the peninsula to see done of the properties that you read about regularly in the press !!! The beach though itself is beautiful & sandy. The beach is kept clean with crystal clear water. The only negative I could say is that in... More

It's a fine sand beach & the water is clear too. The kids loved it & we're not ready to leave!!! The sand is so silky that we were barefoot all the time. Ample parking is available, but it gets full when it gets busy.

This beach is one of the best in the UK. It has a large, sandy dog friendly area as well as a family friendly beach as well. There are good cafes and shops and the parking is easy, although there is a charge. There are lots of things for children to do as well, playground etc.
