Better now it has opened up.

Now that the park is bigger and more open it is so much better to walk round. The cafe is a little gem too.

Great for families with young kids an for us older kids and our dogs. Good woodland walks with views over Holes Bay. The park and the house also hold different events throughout the year but I just use Upton for walking the dog.

We often visit Upton for a stroll/explore with the kids, lovely walks, play and picnic areas. This poor rating is specifically in relation to the Easter activities at the park. They advertised a petting farm, mini golf and sand art at £2.50 each or £6 for all three. What wasn't mentioned in the advertising is that it's per person, not... More

With the number of visitors trying to park it must have a brilliant reputation. Unfortunately despite spending 45 minutes waiting we were no closer to getting parked so we had to give up. Lots of abandoned vehicles and poorly parked ones creating further mayhem. All in all a stressful experience for nothing which is a shame.

Such a lovely place to go for a walk with the dogs. New paths have opened up so much more of the park and it is so easy to get around. Would highly recommend.

I have been visiting this gorgeous park for 25 years and it just gets better and better. It's a fabulous place to take children for a picnic, go for a relaxing stroll or just sit in the lovely walled garden and have a read. It is beautifully looked after and cared for and has a really nice cafe too. I... More

Stumbled on this by accident but it is a lovely country park, and a beautiful location. Couldn't believe that there was no charge for entry and a free car park as well. I should expect this park will be very very popular all year around

We live locally and come here as groups of friends, or with kids, or elderly parents. It's ideal for a picnic, or football game, and had a gorgeous garden too. Check out the pretty house and cafe if you have time. Lots of parking and open space - lovely!

It's all been happening here since my last visit. The gardens and house have always been attractive but now the nearby farm land has been turned into a very pleasant walk and plans are afoot to turn these into an attraction in their own right, this will include an enclosed dog-run area. Sadly, the Romano Britain homestead had been destroyed... More

Upton is a lovely place to take the family for the day, take the dog for a walk or a lovely cycle ride. There's a bike path which goes around the country park. Great views of holes bay and some really good bird watching. Great place to visit!!
