To start with there is a large currently free car park. There is a donation box suggesting £2 which is excellent value. Poole Borough Council are looking at charging which would be okay if the money was to go to the park but it probably won't. Upton Country House has lots of events so it's worth checking if there is... More

Upton country park is such a great area be it walking your dog a gentle stroll or having a picnic in the wonderful surroundings it's a hit. The park offers great events for the family all year round and if you are visiting over Christmas then the Santa grotto is not to be missed. If we ever have family stay... More

Had an amazing time out with friends here. Spent hours walking around enjoying the views. Have not been here for a long time and I guess the peacock is not longer around as I was unable to see it

Great place for walks and exploring. Also has a fun kids activity trail through the woods - so a variety of activities for kids to climb or swing on. Good walk by the water which is good for bird watching. Generally good paths for all access walks. Good restaurant on site and good 'free' parking but can get busy in... More

Just returned from a pleasant walk around Upton Country Park. Thought we would finish off the walk with a toasted tea cake and mug of hot chocolate each. Found the temporary tea room and ordered two tea cakes and two hot chocolates. The hot chocolates were served in a small paper cup and only filled half way up the cup.... More

You enter into the free car park with toilet facilities. walk through with choice of the vast grass grounds to the front or the walk past the Large house, you can stop at the ice-cream kiosk and sit at wooden tables to enjoy it in the gardens. Big trees, lawns bordered by large shrubs lead down to the duck pond... More

Very disappointed, very expensive, very cheap children's gift of what was meant to be playdoh but when opened smelled like turps so had to bin, rushed through Santa, no chat with my little boy. Only good thing was photo. Such a shame has potential to be brilliant

Very easy to locate when heading into Poole. Nice large car park that takes donations. Plenty for children to see and do. We didn't take our son to the Grotto, but he returned with his Nanny and visited, having a lovely time. Very good value for money. Will be visiting again in the Spring.
