Great place to visit - ideal for children. Have lots of events often free. Good cafe with reasonable food at reasonable prices. Lots of lovely walks through grounds and along harbour front

This country park has so much to offer the children from park space, gardens, activity play areas spread out across the site with woodland and a little courtyard with a coffee shop including more.

This has a smallish car park and limited walks, there is a loop but it is a bit over run with dog owners, there are so many bigger spaces with more to do in this area that it would not be my first choice. There is a garden that is nice but again , small a quick walk around and... More

I wish there was a rating between average and very good and I would put good. There isn't a great deal to see, but the walks are nice, the artwork and other exhibitions are small but nice and there are a few birds to look at. What annoys me most [as a local] is that I know for a fact... More

I had wanted to try a Segway experience since watching the TV show 'Coach Trip'. So when I stumbled across a groupon voucher for Dorset Segway's at £17 each, rather than £35 each, I couldn't resist. The communication from Dorset Segway's was brilliant, on the day of the experience they contact me as the ground was too cold and they... More

Ive been visiting upton country park since I was little. There are some lovely walks through woodland, nice gardens, and a lot of natural climbing frames, and swings for children, as well as water fountains in front of the cafe for lots of fun in the summer! A lovely way to spend a couple of hours, and its free too!

A beautiful house set in beautiful gardens. This place really is a gem, the grounds manage to caters for all age groups, there is masses of open space for ball games and family picnics, dog walkers are welcome to enjoy the grounds too. There are tea rooms. I recently attended a workshop, which was very well organised and had the... More

Lovely country park which is free to visit and open to the public. Wonderful waterfront walks with lots of seabirds to spot, cafe/tea rooms, beautiful gardens, awesome trees, dogs allowed, loos and free parking. Good for an afternoon out on a budget.
