Lovely place if you have dogs , and there is a few things along the walk which children would enjoy , to climb . Nice for picnics also in the summer.

This is a highly recommended visit - lovely gardens in a very peaceful setting. We had a long walk around the grounds and surrounding woodland, and also stopped for a light lunch in the cafe. There is ample parking and quite a few activities for kids.

A little place of tranquility with beautiful gardens and big open places for picnics and kicking a ball.

Visited the park yesterday with my grandchildren and what a great day out. When they are happy we are happy. The wooded areas were fantastic and they thoroughly enjoyed the water feature. Keep up the good work. The fact you do not impose any petty car parking charges with the associated machinery sets the tone for the day. Long may... More

We had lots of fun with our 2-5 year olds. Lovely Woodland walk and a gorgeous walled garden to sit and have a tea and cake whilst the children played happily in the small water feature. The cafe staff were also extremely friendly. We definitely will be back.

There are not many places where you can go with 3 kids of varying ages (2,5,10) in the height of summer and have them all enjoy themselves! And it was completely free, even the car parking! A lovely range of activities from den building, climbing running swinging, picnic-ing, splashing in the brand new water fountains, cycling and completing the adventure... More

Handy for when your out an about with kids, lose track of time and you have no food with you. Unfortunately I find it rather overpriced. Staff always really friendly and nice setting.
