We started going to Pirates and Princesses shortly after the re-branding from being Ollie's when taken over by new management a couple of years ago. We were introduced to it through Poole Council who hire the play centre for an exclusive session for special needs children on Mondays from 3.30pm. My twins have severe autism and learning difficulties and it... More

After writing a review back in 2011 (when it was Ollie's play land). I hadn't really visited for a few years. About a year ago I started visiting again as it had changed hands and I now have another young child. Initially I was very impressed - the food was good, the staff were friendly & the prices were good.... More

Arrived tidy - incredibly dirty. Staff did not know what they were doing. They couldnt cope with food demands so just stopped serving food. Wanted to cancel drinks order and was going to leave to get hot food but were told they don't know how to do refunds. I've been to this place for years when it was Ollie's playland.... More

My 6 and 4 year old love this place, and are always choosing to come here on a rainy day, even my soon to be 1 year old loves it also! The one and only problem I really have about it, is it is so dirty! I spilt a whole cup of milk on my last visit, and as we... More

There is so much that I really like about this play area. Easy to access from the bus station as I don't drive and you are allowed to take pushchairs in which is very useful if you have a sleeping baby. I visited today with my girls age 4 and 14 months. Great play frame and a fair price for... More

Play area ok could do with a good clean, more staff needed. Ordered food for myself and my 2 year old, cheese sandwhiches took over an hour before we got fed up and got a refund before going elsewhere. Playarea not even busy. Disgusting service- manager did not even apologise. Very disappointed and will not be visiting again.

I love taking my daughter here as it is safe and the play area is just the right size. Not too high and not too deep. You can see where your child is at all times. Some of these areas are so vast you could easily lose sight of your child but this is just right. My only issue is... More
