Although we didnt enter the museum [not enough time] the shop had plenty to remind us of our youth. Well worth a look at and to buy something if only to support it. More

This venue's name (Ginger Pop Shop) is midleading, so I ignored it for a long time. Finally went in out of curiosity and was enchanted. Delightful and carefully thought out 'attraction' in timewalk style, very helpful proprietors, and lots of interesting goods for sale. Highly recommended for visitors to the area. More

We spent a highly enjoyable nostalgic 1 1/2 hours reliving our childhood. It was very much a hands on experience especially for any avid Enid Blyton fans. There are a wealth of toys & memorabilia, all of which cry out to be examined & played with. This was encouraged by the staff for children of all ages from 1 to... More

Eileen Soper's Illustrated World is a wonderful place to visit if you are an Enid Blyton enthusiast or just young at heart. You'll find it just round the corner from Poole Quay and it is well worth looking out for. Its secret passage laden with clues, a room filled with toys from yesteryear, a Romany caravan and an excellent shop... More

Popped in here while in Poole last week and can't wait for our next trip south to go back again, The shop in itself is a wonderful collection of memories in the form of books, toys and merchandise but the real hidden gem is the attraction behind the shop. Excellently priced at £16 for a family of 4 plus an... More

I saw this as I passed on the coach and popped in to pick up some marmite memorabelia and got chatting to them when I saw all the famous five books etc. Went back and explored and so enjoyed it. The secret passage and clues to solve were great and the memories of my childhood came flooding back when I... More

This gem is tucked away off Poole Quay, and could easily be missed. A wonderful attraction that contains an excellent shop, full of nostalgic gifts and new and second hand books. A secret passage, hall of mirrors, Enid's sitting room, nature displays and lots more make this a "must see" attraction for old and young alike. More

I happened upon this place by total accident and, have to confess, I hadn't heard of Eileen Soper before but am a childhood fan of Enid Blyton so just browsing the shop I was in my element. Then the lovely lady asked if I wanted to go through to the attraction....I had a little time so thought "Why Not?!" And... More
