Took my 2 year old & her 2 cousins (all under 5) in July - great family day out, with lots to do for little ones. Play areas fantastic, most of the farm animals & activities close together so not too far to walk for little legs. Pig racing was good fun to watch, kids enjoyed brushing the pony &... More

We had a great day out with the kids and there is just so much to do. It is definitely worth the money! The kids did a pony ride, tractor ride and animal handling session as well as exploring the farm and the wood walk and the numerous playgrounds/ play rooms. We took a picnic for lunch and enjoyed sitting... More

We took the extended family out to Farmer Palmer's and it was well worth it. Very reasonably priced, the facilities are brilliant and the layout was well thought out. The food was excellent and great value for money. There are different play areas mixed in with the animal attractions. My kids loved the tractor ride and the woodland walk. It... More

I visited Farmer Palmer's last September with my daughter (then 2 1/2) and my mother-in-law (husband and father-in-law packed off to the nearby Tank Museum!). We had a fantastic time and can't say that we noticed any lack of supervision. My daughter loved grooming a pony and cuddling a guinea pig - but she couldn't be persuaded to feed a... More

We did this as a last minute decision and glad we did. A huge place full of play and fun. Great for kids under 10.

I had a lovely day out here with my husband and our two small sons. It was raining heavily when we first arrived but there was plenty to do that was under cover. My two particularly liked the slides, even though the littlest one needed some help climbing up the straw bales! I think the only play area we didn't... More

Kirsty, you have a hidden talent at writing and your review is wonderfully clear and reflects a fair view of what we try to achieve. You could almost say there was enough to still do when you come back another day, there is 50% off if you re-visit within 5 days, with your receipt ..... More

An unplanned visit along with our own children and their families (including a 3 year and 3 month-old). They loved it, and spent almost a full day there, only being dragged away on the threat of missing dinner!!!! We were perfectly happy with the level of supervision in the various areas, having read one of the recent reports. One just... More

On visiting the attraction with my daughter and 3 year old granddaughter I was somewhat disappointed with the lack of variety of animals. There were a few sheep , goat and pigs, along with few other animals but I have yet to see a cow. The information was rather limited on the animals. The main focus of the attraction , in... More

Thank you for your review. Our Animal timetable starts at 10am and has an event every half an hour. We have over 150 animals and the cow milking demo is at 1.45. Did you arrive later in the day? Yes they are farm animals, as Farmer Palmers is a farm. We do not supervise play areas, as this is part... More

Having visited a lot of farms and animal attractions over the past few years, this is up there with the best. There is so much to do here, spending less than a day is criminal. From pony rides to feeding baby animals, woodlife walk, carting and play facilities, there is so much to keep the little ones entertained for hours... More
