Visited with our 18 month old toddler and there was loads to do. We went to the goat and lamb feelings, stoked a guinea pug and the cow milking demonstration. Lots of information at the demonstration. Paid extra to go in the tractor ride which was good. Walked round to look at the animals. Lots of play areas with sensory... More

Me and my girlfriend were really looking forward to the day out, in spitting distance (no, not the Alpacas !!!!) from our home. The Kune Kune pigs were the main reason for our visit. But goodness me, Alan the Owl truly lit the place up, although he was not overly keen on showing us his talents. The cow show was... More

We visited Farmer Palmers on Friday May 1st and had an excellent time. Staying at the local Parkdean holiday park we saved 10% on entry price. We missed the cow milking demo but there was so much more to keep our 4yr old and 20 month old entertained. They bottle fed goats, groomed the pony, rode the peddle tractors, played... More

We are sorry you felt this way, it is definitely not what I would expect. I will check who was on the team and if there were any additional pressures on their day which could have caused this. If you would kindly email me at info@farmerpalmers.co.uk so that I may keep you informed directly. Sandra Palmer-Snellin More

There was a lot to do on the farm e.g tractor ride, demos, play areas etc. We spent the whole day there, the demos were really fun for the kids and well organised. Alot of different play areas for the children e.g. wet sand, hay and indoor. Also good place for the children to learn about different animals

was ok, had a pleasant walk around the stream, very short pony ride for £3, they could at least walk the length of the field. kids (16 months and 7 year old) enjoyed the sit on tractors. not very many animals to see. i think a nice place to go if weather is ok but think the pricing should be... We went over the Easter weekend taking our niece and nephew (aged 2 and 3 years old) who were visiting. We expected lots of farm animals and activities, so even though it was chilly, we though that this would be catered for. We arrived just before the cow milking demo which was held in a small barn that was already... More

Thank you for a review which has many points in it. The art of working with animals and small children is always a challenge, especially on busy days. There are so many animals on site we can only set up so many interactive events within a day. We do events from 10am. You first mentioned the cow milking, please contact... More

We live close to Farmer Palmers and this was our first visit and it will not be our last. It was easter weekend and we wanted to try something new and let our 2 year old son decided from a pile of brochures and Farmer Palmers won. The staff were all friendly and everything was so clean and well maintained.... More

We visited here on Easter Monday 2015. The place was quite busy but we all had an amazing time with all the features that were available from play areas to the animals, country walks to the restaurant. It has been a little while since I had last visitied with our children and I was very impressed in the fact that... More

I was not looking forward to a 4yr old's birthday party (!) but this one was almost effortless. Tractor ride, feeding goats, stroking guinea pigs, owl flying, and a good timetable to boot amongst many other things made for a very enjoyable day out.
