Had a great day here, as we were staying at Parkdean Sandford we got in for £23.00 for a family of 4. The play areas were fab & even though the farm is aimed for children under 8, my 10 year old still enjoyed herself. Once in we looked at the timetable of events & there was lots to see.... More

I visit Farmer Palmers with my 1 and 3 year old almost on a weekly basis and it never fails to entertain my children. There is something for every weather. It is all very well kept and Farmer Palmer is constantly updating things and making sure it is in tip top condition. The soft play is one of the cleanest... More

This was a family day out with our 2 year old granddaughter who loved the animals and the play areas. The weather was unsettled and there were some heavy showers but we were able to take shelter in the restaurant or the play barns. My favourite part was the woodland walk.

Aimed at the 8 and under age bracket, this farm is great fun. Plently of animals to see, tractor rides at £1 each which the kids loved. Plenty of indoor activities as well as outside. The outside is quite exposed if windy so bring a coat. Would recommend. If staying nearby check with your accommodation as you might get a... More

Here with two boys who have had lots of fun in the park area. It's a good day and no complaints from the kids. In comparison to other farm parks dotted around South England, this is a lot smaller though comes with the same price tag (just over £30 for four of us). Perfectly good fun, not sure if I... More

Thank you, I have contacted you as I am keen to know if you travelled as a day visitor, Swindon is quite a distance away and this could have influenced the price of your day out. Please let me know. Sandra More

We visited the farm with our young daughter 18months. Although there wasn't lots for her to do she certainly didn't miss out. She loved the sheep and the play barn. We had lunch (well priced) it was very busy but wasn't overrun. Great place, lots to see and do. Will be returning soon :)

If you're on holiday in Poole or Bournemouth with young children a visit here is a must. A very short drive and reasonably priced, the farm has a lovely welcoming family feel to it. Feed the goats, hold a guinea pig, groom the horses, feed the sheep, ride a tractor and then let the kids tire themselves out on the... More

Having read the leaflet I had high expectations of the farm due to its awards and excellent write ups. Was sadly disappointed on our visit. We were there less than an hour, very small, not many animals. Piglets, guinea pigs and goats in the animal barn area. Outside paddocks with sheep, goats and hens. Pigs tucked up at the back... Thank you for your impressions. We do not encourage visitors to feed our outside animals so that they do not bite. We will look at your review in our June team meeting and see if we can incorporate any of your feelings. More

Good day out but very expensive to get in! Especially if you have children over 2 years old! Take a packed lunch otherwise it will turn out to be an expensive day!!

We appreciate eveyone has a different budget and have priced our admission lower than many other day out attractions. That said, we do advertise our prices on the web, brochure, facebook and many other social media sites. I am sorry you felt we were expensive, our family ticket is £32.00 for any readers who wish to compare here. More

Have been coming here 7 years and it is just as good if not better each time. Always making improvements and updating. A full day out and so much to do. Nothing is too much for the staff or Farmer Palmer himself. Cafe has good choice of foods at reasonable prices. Or plenty of places to eat a picnic. Fabulous... More
