we all had a brilliant day out at Jimmy's Farm....make sure you allow yourself a whole day. The children absolutely loved building their own Den in the forest...it's a MUST!! We also fed the animals, had sheep chase us while we fed the goats...it was a lovely day. We took a big picnic with us, but there is a restaurant... More

Called into Jimmys Farm for coffee and light snack about 1130 a.m. We had not booked lunch but were asked to sit in the entrance to have coffee and toasted teacake. We had to ask for a table to put the cups and plates on. Virtually all the tables in the restaurant were free - I appreciate they were booked... More

We're so sorry to hear you were not happy. When people have reserved tables we can't give them to other people we're afraid, so that may mean if you'd still like to eat you can enjoy sitting in our entry foyer. The area does have a coffee table and console table to use. Best thing to do is book in... More

We visited with our group of NCT friends, now we have toddlers it's good to have somewhere they can let off steam. We arrived at 12 and went straight to the restaurant for lunch, I enquired about the soup of the day and there seemed some confusion as to what it was but the waitress thought it was spicy pumpkin... The food was delicious the entertainment disappointing. The 'headline' comedy act, seemed rather intoxicated and had little material, just waffling in and out of focus. We couldn't wait to go! The service seemed inexperienced but helpful and the restaurant manager, either under a lot of pressure on not enjoying her job. Overall a night we were looking forward to and... More

Not really done the farm bit but know people who have with their kids and have said it is good. I go to the butchery and have eaten in the restaurant and can't fault it. Big Cheese Night was great and considering the amount they were catering for a well organised front of house and kitchen!

Having watched jimmy set this up, had always wanted to visit but not being in my neck of the woods didn't think I'd get the opportunity. So on a stop over in Copdock & Washbrook staying at the cameo hotel I learnt from the hotels web site just how close we were, so visiting was a most. So on leaving... More

Took the grand-kids for the first time this summer and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Especially Fishing with Dolly, the boys were thrilled with their first catch! Great value for money!

Took my family here initially for Sunday lunch as it was my adult sons birthday. So with my other son, wives and grandson (2 1/2 years old) we were a party of seven. If you're wanting tablecloths then don't go - tables are big wooden ones well suited to the converted barn - all adding to the atmosphere of the... More
