Kids (3 and 7) enjoyed as much as Colchester zoo for a fraction of the price although their main interest was in the play areas rather than the animals. Facilities were fairly basic and we didn't try the restaurant due to 30min wait for table on a fairly quiet day. Worth the entry fee and keeping the kids amused for... More

Having been wow-ed by Adam Henson's Cotswold Farm Park a few weeks ago I was really looking forward to visiting Jimmy's Farm. The kids enjoyed it yes, we fed animals yes, kids lurved the bouncy pillow and mahoosive sandpit but..... it was a bit harder than it should be. Refreshments were way back at the entrance meaning either a tag... More

Visited Jimmys farm whilst visiting sister in law. Went along expecting a normal farm day out but got much more! Plenty for the kids to do whilst walking around with lots of interactive areas, good idea to get a selection of pies, quiches, sandwiches etc from the deli and sit in the sun watching people play. All in all a... More

Have been to Jimmy's Farm several times, 40 mins drive from home. not too pricey to walk around the animals and children's activities, but as this attraction grows, then I feel that there needs to be more to offer in addition to this. Always difficult to get a table in the restaurant without booking, and these days out are usually... More

Hi there, Thank you for your positive feedback and we are glad you enjoyed your visit to the farm! Our restaurant has become very popular and we will be putting additional refreshment outlets soon. Our new snack van which is parked down by the bouncy pillow is offering various snacks and drinks and we will be expanding the Field Kitchen... More

we have waited for a few years to go here and we were not disappointed. It is so lovely for adults and children. The animals are in great condition, we loved the pigs, and so varied. The only disappointment was that it had rained and we could not go through the woodland walk, but the rest kept us busy. The... More

A wonderful day out, with plenty to keep all ages occupied! A good range of animals to see and other activities such as den building. Lunch - sausage roll and chips - was amazing! The sausage rolls are enormous and absolutely delicious. There is plenty of space if you wanted to bring along a picnic.

Great place to eat and play, ideal for kids as well as mums and dads. If Jimmy is around he's happy to chat and have his photo taken with you, he's definitely not forgotten his roots. Try and catch the red rose chain theatre in the forest, its an added bonus

A great place to go - loads to do (you will get muddy though!!) Food was delicious & shops just lovely. I would recommend 3 - 4 hours (although depends if you eat in restaurant!) Den building was great fun, with an amazing 4 storey den to climb. Very dog friendly too.

Really enjoyed this place with all the animals, activities for littlechildren up to young teenagers (den building in the woods) and the shops. A good family day out.

Me and my family came to Jimmy's farm on the 18/08/2015 - we firstly wanted to have something to eat before walking around, we entered the restaurant only to be asked "what do you want?!" then to be told we could only have drinks in the patio area as they had a wedding function on... we then ate outside with... Thank you for your feedback and we're sorry your visit to the farm did not live up to your expectations. Occasionally we will have to close the restaurant early due to a private function and we would always advise to book a table ahead of your visit to avoid any disappointment. With that in mind however, we will endeavour to... More
