Although Jimmys is only half hour from us we had never visited before. 8 of us went, 4 adults and 4 children. Had a great day out and found everything very reasonably priced-entrance, food and shops. The kids loved the den building in the woods and the play area. Will definitely return agai.

This was our first visit to Jimmy's farm and overall we had a really great time, though there was some disappointments too. We were there for 3 things... 1. the sausages - there weren't many stalls offering them 2. the beer, again not nearly enough stalls/tents for the amount of people and not much variety. The queues were horrendous! 3.... More

Whatever you do if you go to this festival and camp make sure you check to see if your camping on a firm grassy field and not a corn field full of stones and flints that you can barely walk on never mind camp on. Absolute nightmare from start to finish weather wasn't great either but that nothing to do... More

We visited today, having been given the recommendation by friends. We found it to be superb and will be highly recommending it to other friends. We were lucky - it was a relatively quiet day which was a pleasant surprise during the summer holidays. My top tip however is to BOOK the restaurant in advance (on the website) if you... More

What a shame some people are so miserable!! We visited Jimmy's Farm for the first time during the Sausage and Beer festival and had an absolutely fantastic time. Okay there were queues but what do you expect with that many people? The weather wasn't perfect either but how unfair to blame the organisers for this. If you're going to complain... More

Basically i think Jimmy has now tried to make this too big! There wasnt enough toilets, bars or food stalls to accomodate the number of people there. The music was good and the food and drink was good once you mananged to get it, but we queued 45mins to an hour for every drink, which at a "beer" festival isnt... More

Where to start really... i've no doubt what I say Jimmy's Farm will just reply with their stock response of 'we can't control the weather'. YES, WE KNOW THAT. What you can control is the site for tents and the facilities. Both were dreadful, a ploughed field for camping? Either Jimmy knows nothing about camping or he just doesn't care... More

We visited on the day after the festival, so phoned ahead to check they were still functioning and had some sausages left! The person on the phone was very pleasant and helpful and even phoned back with information on a couple of items we particularly wanted to buy. We enjoyed seeing the animals and photographing the stunning butterflies in the... More

Interesting that so many of the negative reviews on here are from those that camped, and despite acknowledging the weather was out of the organisers control, they still seem to have let it influence their view of the festival. Admittedly I'd be cranky if I hadn't slept....however, we didn't camp and had a great day (Saturday). The children loved running... More
