Visited Jimmy's Farm back in 2014 (late review!) with my friends from university to have a lecture from the farm itself about the organisation and financial details of running a business. We also got a tour of the farm, as well as all of the animals and a break where we could go into the restaurant. The day was good,... More

It's hard to know where to begin with this review so I shall start at the beginning. On arrival we were directed to the overflow carpark by 2 demented folk waving their arms around in the air. Why these venues feel the need to do this, I do not know. It was bank holiday Monday and the place was packed.... More

Restaurant was excellent, great breakfasts, helpful and attentive service, well worth coming early for the breakfast! Market was good (not as many stalls as usual) but had a good shop in The Butchery Shop so no worries. Good place to visit if you can get your head round see the pigs, pet the pigs and then eat the pigs!!!! :)

We hadn't been here for a number of years and today were saddened to see how commercialised it has become. This is no longer a farm rather a small, semi rural shopping experience. Yes there are animals etc but we are in rural Suffolk...take a walk to see the same down the road. I remember watching the founder on television... More

This was my first visit to Jimmy's Farm. I went with my daughter and granddaughter. What were we supposed to see? There were four or five lambs enclosed in a very small space, which had obviously had enough petting to last them, and just wanted to put space between us and them, understandably. They were still being bottle fed, so... More

I am not someone who often writes reviews but I felt compelled to write and say what a truly amazing day my family and I had at Jimmy's farm on Saturday 2nd May. There was plenty to do for such a little admission fee. My 2 five year olds loved feeding the animals, playing on the parks, petting the guinea... More

There is something honest and rustic about farming. Providing food and clothes from the soil is worth celebrating. But I am less sure about its conversion into a paean of middle-class indulgences. It all feels rather generic, a little time-worn. There was the standard-issue timbered boat, sawn in half and upturned into a seat for two. Blackboard signage aplenty. Brioche... More

We have a 1yr old daughter who loved stroking the lambs, she was mesmerised by the butterfly farm. Lots of things for toddlers to see and do. You can take a picnic in with you or there is a cafe there. Can get really busy in the cafe in the summer if you don't book, I've always found the service... More

We visited here with our young adult children and spent an enjoyable couple of hours here. We purchased food for the animals and had fun taking selfies with the goats. (Be warned they can forcefully butt you if you lean your back on their fence, much to the amusement of the rest of the family) The rea's love to be... More

Going to Jimmys Farm was a birthday treat for me and my two year old son. It was a brilliant day. We loved feeding the goats, bouncing on the big inflatable pillow, playing in the Hobbit house and seeing the butterflies in the butterfly farm. There is a great area for toddlers, lots of space to play, a woodland walk... More
