We visited the farm yesterday with three children aged between 7 and 10. We had a lovely time building a den in the woods and looking at the animals and butterflies. There was a great sandpit area and playground for little children, but the adventure zone for the older kids was not as well thought out....sorry but we have been... More

Jimmy's farm is inexpensive to families baby animals, den building, gentle animals for your children to feed hobbit house park with zip wire etc. ho lots to entertain them they don't mind you bringing your own food, but their own restaurant is reasonably priced and have huge portions well enough for two. ENJOY.

I took my friend to Jimmy's Farm because she said she wanted to feed some chickens, but we fed all the animals, we had a good laugh and a lovely lunch in the restaurant. It's not just for little kids......

We are regular visitors to the restaurant and have noticed recently a decline in the quality of the food. Prices are already very high and when you're paying £15 for a roast dinner you'd expect something a little more special than the £6 carvery you'd buy from a chain establishment. However, this is unfortunately not the case. The menu has... More

Not worth any journey of any length. Very fabricated, no veg in the 'farm shop', bit of a theme park for Londoners. The burgers were nice though, as were the staff.

We're not fabricated in the slightest! Everything here at the farm is home-grown and hand-made. The farm has been tirelessly created by a very small and dedicated team here at Jimmy's and through thick and thin Jimmy has stuck to his free-range ethos. However, we're glad you enjoyed your free-range beef burger made by hand by our lovely team of... More

Spent a great day at Jimmy's Farm. The kids (5 in total, age 5 to 11) had a blast and the variety of activities kept them all occupied most of the day. Their favourites? Shelter building, chicken safari, hobbit house and the adventure playground. Would definitely return!

So disappointed. We went out of our way to visit. It's very commercialised and not at all a cottage industry. Nearly all the pastries contain Palm oil. Not local butter or oils at all. Palm production is destroying rain forest. Surely Jimmy cares about this. The scotch eggs were 3.50 which is crazy but I thought they must be special.... More

We're slightly surprised with your review as palm oil is not an issue Jimmy has campaigned about. We stand for animals being reared free-range and preserving rare breeds, which is precisely what we do here. Our sausage rolls at £2 are made with free-range, rare breed pork by hand. If they were priced any cheaper we would have to use... More

We had a birthday party for our sons 8th birthday. Our host was excellent and took care of the children. She took them around the farm pointing out interesting and fun facts and letting them feed lots of the animals. They then went back to the roundhouse for sandwiches and cake. We provided chocolate coins and the host set up... More

We went here with the family, the farmers shop was very expensive, vastly overpriced not much else to say really, given he hype, and all the publicity and media coverage it was OK, but slightly disappointing we drove quite some distance to see and experience it, and, unfortunately, didn't really find it worth the long trip but nice to have... thanks for coming a long way. We have a lot more to do at the farm than just a farm shop! It's a shame you didn't see the rest. Our farm shop prices reflect the care all our small producers put into their products and are in line with all other local farm shops. More

What a fantastic place! Loved the petting area, especially the piglets, and the restaurant was fabulous. I had the most amazing crab salad and my son had sausage and mash which he ate most of! Highly recommended!
