I've only ever been in here twice and don't really plan on going back in, which is a shame as it is a cozy pub with a nice beer garden to the back and a very good selection of real ales. I love this place, it is just so full of great beers, great beer festivals and the biggest pint of pork scratchings you will ever see, this is a must for anyone that loves real ale, or you can have something off the fizzy list if you like !

The Dove is probably the best pub in Ipswich. There staff are all very friendly. There are numerous real ales in here. They specialise in serving real ales and have won many National awards for this.. There are many different areas to sit in including very cosy, wide open spaces and even under a marquee. You can order an Indian... More

The frequent beer festivals put this pup as a beacon for Real Ale in Ipswich. A large selection of beers are complimented with great service, and vibe. The only downside being the fruit machines and TV screens which can be avoided.

Superb range of ales and a great outdoor seating area. Like it best when they put on a BBQ in the seating area outside

Had a short visit to Ipswich and wanted to try a local real ale pub. My first choice from reading the trip advisor reviews was the The Dove Street Brewery and I can see and taste why this place is highly rated. A great selection of real ale and I tried a few. The service and advice was excellent. It... More
