I'd heard about St Jude's and came across it last night. I popped in for a drink to check it out and stayed for 3 hours. Frank is a friendly/jovial chap and the customers in there very chatty and friendly - a relaxing place to spend a couple of hours. Will certainly go back in the near future

Glad to see St Judes open again. A friendly little pub with a nice selection of real ale. Met so many nice people in here . Well done to the owners and the staff.

Great place! its wonderful to have a pub in ipswich that is different then the same old chain pubs in the town centre! Its has a lot of ales, a massive black boards full of them, so always something different to drink! it also has a wonderful relaxed atmosphere!!

St.Jude's is re-opening this month. cosy little tavern, brew their own beers/ales. there is a great selection and always a good atmosphere. decor is almost medieval. very happy it is back and highly recommend it!

We loved St Jude's brews but they had decided to close all operations. They have been closed for about 2 months or more now.

Nice one while it lasted, great to see a non chain pub strut it`s stuff. There were issues St Matthews street pub was nice but a little dark in the daytime ok in the evening and the food of hot pies were terrible soaky things. Felixstowe was a big problem in being set in Millers old place which in it... More

Just to let everyone know, this pub and the one in Felixstowe along with the Brewery has now closed due to Frank's ill health. Hopefully someone may take the Tavern over and open up a real ale venue.

I loved this place. Wonderfully relaxed atmosphere and great ales. Quite an interesting mixture of clientele too. I enjoyed the decor and the fact that there are no TV screens anywhere and just Planet Rock playing in the background. Wish there were more pubs like this one!

If you like your ales you need to check out this place. Great range of beer, mostly local and many brewed by St Jude's. Nice relaxed atmosphere when I've come here during the day on a Saturday.
