A really great little pub with no pretences of being anything grand, mind you they do keep a grand range of real ales, beers and premium continental lagers, what's more the regulars are a friendly bunch too, so as well as a good pint you can get some non-to-serious conversation as well!

Brilliant pub that doesn't take it self too seriously. Staff and clientele are great. Great range of ales and a jovial atmosphere. Is certainly a unique place you have to visit.

Some of the unusual beers in there are really tasty. Besides the beer.....the things that makes this micro pub so special are the customers and the friendly bar staff. .

Have always enjoyed St Judes the owner does a good job with this Pub, worth a visit just to see the decor ect. Good real ale not pumped but straight from the barrel.

Lots of real ales, friendly staff and customers, reasonable prices, interesting decor that is pretty much the style of a 'London Tavern' but with the odd eccentricity - but it's the friendly feel and the beers that really matter in this unusual pub.

Visit this pub before every Ipswich home game. A great selection of real ales at reasonable prices. The staff are superb and the atmosphere is great.

I'd heard about St Jude's and came across it last night. I popped in for a drink to check it out and stayed for 3 hours. Frank is a friendly/jovial chap and the customers in there very chatty and friendly - a relaxing place to spend a couple of hours. Will certainly go back in the near future

Great place! its wonderful to have a pub in ipswich that is different then the same old chain pubs in the town centre! Its has a lot of ales, a massive black boards full of them, so always something different to drink! it also has a wonderful relaxed atmosphere!!
