Baylham House Rare Breeds Farm is in the middle of the beautiful county of Suffolk in Eastern England and is a small livestock farm breeding farm animals that were once common but are now very rare.

It's a great time to bring your whole family to the farm to meet the piglets, feed the goats and let the kids loose in the play area whilst you settle into the calm surroundings with a piece of homemade cake or a cream tea.

Not having visited since the children were very small, we won a family ticket and enjoyed ourselves so much that we paid to visit again later in the summer! Our 15 and 12 year olds and their friend, also 12, had great fun, as did us 40 something parents! In addition to the cute animals, we met welcoming and enthusiastic... More

A cold wet day was improved with a quick trip to Baylham Rare Breeds. We spent time meeting the bunnies, feeding the goats and pigs. We then met Farmer Christmas, the best experience ever. A very nice man, who has a clever rapport with the children. My daughter aged 8 was suitably impressed and nervous at meeting such an important... More

We took our 4 year old granddaughter to see Farmer Xmas on Sunday and although it was pouring with rain, cold and miserable she had a magical time. Famer Xmas was brilliant! We had to queue for a while but it was worth it. The visit wasn't rushed and he told a tale of how he was related to Father... More

We had a great morning here over half term week. Everything was nicely Halloween themed and the staff were in costume. Fun activites set up for the kids including a trail and pumpkin carving. It was bigger than I expected and we walked by the river which was lovely. Hubby and daughter went into the haystack maze- far too scary... More

Took our grandchildren to this rare breeds farm today and we all had a great time, the kids loved being able to feed the animals, pet the rabbits, collect the eggs and climb through the tunnel in the straw stack, the staff are very helpful, there's a walk beside the river, picnic area and a café and shop.

Not well set up and and it promised a great deal more than it delivered. Overall the family found it a disappointing afternoon.

An excellent afternoon with my 2 year old grandson. He enjoyed seeing the pigs, sheep, goats and cattle. He loved helping collect the eggs and watching the baby goats leaping around. He had fun climbing inside and on top of the special ly created haystack and playing in the toddlers playground. The only downside was he didn't want to go... More

We visited this little farm on the 28th August, as we were coming down to stay at a nearby premier inn and wanted something to do with the kids for a couple of hours.
