Baylham House Rare Breeds Farm is in the middle of the beautiful county of Suffolk in Eastern England and is a small livestock farm breeding farm animals that were once common but are now very rare. It's a great time to bring your whole family to the farm to meet the piglets, feed the goats and let the kids loose in the play area whilst you settle into the calm surroundings with a piece of homemade cake or a cream tea.

I, my wife and my young daughter visited baylham farm today & it was a lovely farm where you could really get close to all of the animals, the goats especially which were adorable. We also got to meet and coach Tilly the young cow, which was lovely. We will be visiting this farm many more times and would highly... More

I bought a 'Farmer for a Day' ticket for my ten-year-old niece. It was not a cheap ticket - but it was worth every penny. We're city people and were looking for an authentic country experience - not just petting and looking at animals - something we could actually learn from. Kate, who runs the farm, was with us all... Yes, what a fantastic place to take the family, well I'm 50 this year and I really enjoyed holding the lambs, the staff are very friendly and the lambs are SO cute. I had a walk around the rest of the farm including the shop, I really enjoyed the book stalls as well as the lambs.

I took my ten month old son to the farm a few weeks ago and he loved it. He was able to get really close to the animals and we had a lovely walk around. It is quite expensive for an adult (£7.--) but it's a lovely little place and feels much more genuine than Jimmys farm, and quieter than... More

Today my 6 year old daughter had her birthday party at the farm and we were delighted with the way it was organised. Amber, the party organiser stayed with us throughout and was informative, kind and so helpful. The whole afternoon was a joy and the party food was very good quality with proper ham and cheese, fresh products and... More

Visited the farm during the week and have to say was not impressed, the majority of footpaths were all over grown with loads of sting a nettles which made pushing a double buggy near impossible, my two young children got stung quite a few times which was very upsetting for them. It scared the life out of me that the... More

Thank you for your review and for the kind comments about our team. You are absolutely right about the riverside path, this is our top priority to resolve at the moment, which we are working on right now. Unfortunately we have experienced delays in attending to this issue, due to problems with machinery which have now been resolved. We're sorry... More

An interesting collection of less common domestic animal breeds. Many kids and a calf were present for the "oh cute" factor. The alpaca would benefit from having the toe nails clipped and the brown Huacaya its lower teeth trimmed. Cafe pleasant. Staff friendly.

Thank you for your review and kind comments. Good observation regarding feet and teeth! Our alpacas were due to have their feet trimmed at the time of your visit, this has now been completed. Teeth are routinely attended to when we shear. Unfortunately shearing has been delayed due to our shearer being unwell, but this will be completed very shortly.... More

I took four teenagers to this farm park and they absolutely loved it .. (I hadn't taken them to a farm since they were little).. It was filling to see them off their screens and having such a great time. One of my sons has since enquired about volunteering. A great time had by all.
