Baylham House Rare Breeds Farm is in the middle of the beautiful county of Suffolk in Eastern England and is a small livestock farm breeding farm animals that were once common but are now very rare. It's a great time to bring your whole family to the farm to meet the piglets, feed the goats and let the kids loose in the play area whilst you settle into the calm surroundings with a piece of homemade cake or a cream tea.

We took our twin granddaughters (2.75 years old) and they loved it. Cuddled a rare breed lamb. Lots of lovely animals all used to being fed. Simple but fulfilling family fun. Big mention to the staff who were all very friendly and quite informed. Nice to see so many youngsters working outside and interacting . All in all a real... More

We took my 15 month old daughter to the farm and enjoyed a walk around, feeding the animals as we went. All the paths were fine for a pushchair. It's a great place as it's not heavily branded or 'samey' as many places can be. It feels a bit like stepping back in time- in a good way. We felt... More

Thanks for a lovely review! You're quite right, as with all outdoor attractions - warmer weather suits us best! But of course there is the cafe to warm up in with a homemade cake and a cup of tea. Hope your daughter enjoyed the visit and cuddling our newborn lambs. More

This is a lovely place to visit as a couple or with a family. Lots of animals to see and they all seem to like interacting with the public, mainly because they're expecting you to feed them. We had a lot of laughs at the antics of the pigs and the lambs.

We went as a family of four (2 adults, a 3 and 5 yr old). We arrived with about 3 hours until closing and could have done with a bit longer to walk around the animals in the back fields although this did at least give us enough time to have a look at all the main parts. Our children... More

i spent a few hours here with my 20 month old son. this is a very reasonably priced attraction and well worth a visit. there are many hands in opportunities with the animals and they are all very friendly. however, it would be worth the staff doing a daily check on the signs about the animals. some have faded or... Interesting place with some strange looking animals. Have been before during lambing and that was lovely (although the lambing shed does get a little smelly if you have kids who are sensitive to that sort of thing!).

Visited today for the first time and we loved it. £7 for an adult was good value 30p for a bag of food. Wish we bought more food as we had a blast feeding the cows they open there mouths and stick there tongues out waiting to be fed. Some of the pigs did the same really entertaining. Fell in... More

2 concessions as we are oldies and one 4year old ( the 3 year old was free) came to 15.00. We went straight to the outside picnic/play area, an "enclosed" area, and were all enjoying ourselves when suddenly about 10 "sweet" little goats came to join our picnic. And by join I meant up on the table eating the children's... More

Thank you for your review. We value hearing not only the positive experiences that people visiting the farm have, but also the negative so that we can continually improve the experience for all our visitors. I’m very sorry to hear that your visit was affected by the goats. Although the goats are allowed to roam free and interact with our... More

We decided to visit for the first time and we are all so glad we did. The farm is clean and all of the animals are very well looked after and look they have a wonderful life. The goats walk around with you which is lovely for the kids to experience. There are plenty of different animals for the whole... More

I go with my daughter lily a lot as she loves feeding the goats. Sometimes special events are laid on like sheep shearing and food festivals which are well worth catching. It's a small place but we love it and it's tranquil. The cafe is excellent too and the staff are lovely! I recommend fully!
