Baylham House Rare Breeds Farm is in the middle of the beautiful county of Suffolk in Eastern England and is a small livestock farm breeding farm animals that were once common but are now very rare. It's a great time to bring your whole family to the farm to meet the piglets, feed the goats and let the kids loose in the play area whilst you settle into the calm surroundings with a piece of homemade cake or a cream tea.

We visited this little farm on the 28th August, as we were coming down to stay at a nearby premier inn and wanted something to do with the kids for a couple of hours. This little farm was really nice. The staff were friendly and the admission price was really cheap considering the amount of animals they had. We have... More

We were looking for something to fill a couple of hours and this certainly ticked the boxes. Typical working farm but it allows you to get hands on with the goats and chickens. We spent a good hour just sat in the orchard whilst the goats sat, nibbled and jumped over us. We all loved it and for less than... More

I, my wife and my young daughter visited baylham farm today & it was a lovely farm where you could really get close to all of the animals, the goats especially which were adorable. We also got to meet and coach Tilly the young cow, which was lovely. We will be visiting this farm many more times and would highly... More

I bought a 'Farmer for a Day' ticket for my ten-year-old niece. It was not a cheap ticket - but it was worth every penny. We're city people and were looking for an authentic country experience - not just petting and looking at animals - something we could actually learn from. Kate, who runs the farm, was with us all... Yes, what a fantastic place to take the family, well I'm 50 this year and I really enjoyed holding the lambs, the staff are very friendly and the lambs are SO cute. I had a walk around the rest of the farm including the shop, I really enjoyed the book stalls as well as the lambs.

I took my ten month old son to the farm a few weeks ago and he loved it. He was able to get really close to the animals and we had a lovely walk around. It is quite expensive for an adult (£7.--) but it's a lovely little place and feels much more genuine than Jimmys farm, and quieter than... More

Today my 6 year old daughter had her birthday party at the farm and we were delighted with the way it was organised. Visited the farm during the week and have to say was not impressed, the majority of footpaths were all over grown with loads of sting a nettles which made pushing a double buggy near impossible, my two young children got stung quite a few times which was very upsetting for them. It scared the life out of me that the... More

Thank you for your review and for the kind comments about our team. You are absolutely right about the riverside path, this is our top priority to resolve at the moment, which we are working on right now. Unfortunately we have experienced delays in attending to this issue, due to problems with machinery which have now been resolved. We're sorry... More
