Baylham House Rare Breeds Farm is in the middle of the beautiful county of Suffolk in Eastern England and is a small livestock farm breeding farm animals that were once common but are now very rare. It's a great time to bring your whole family to the farm to meet the piglets, feed the goats and let the kids loose in the play area whilst you settle into the calm surroundings with a piece of homemade cake or a cream tea.

Visited the farm during the week and have to say was not impressed, the majority of footpaths were all over grown with loads of sting a nettles which made pushing a double buggy near impossible, my two young children got stung quite a few times which was very upsetting for them. It scared the life out of me that the... More

An interesting collection of less common domestic animal breeds. Many kids and a calf were present for the "oh cute" factor. The alpaca would benefit from having the toe nails clipped and the brown Huacaya its lower teeth trimmed. Cafe pleasant. Staff friendly.

I took four teenagers to this farm park and they absolutely loved it .. (I hadn't taken them to a farm since they were little).. It was filling to see them off their screens and having such a great time. One of my sons has since enquired about volunteering. A great time had by all.

This farm has a load of potential, with a decent variety of animals and the opportunity to hold lambs. When we went there was also a BBQ which looked amazing. Sadly the place seems ill equipped to deal with the amount of people attending. The seating in the cafe, and in the picnic area really is inadequate. Some areas also... More

Thanks for your review. As you mention our Bunny Barn I'm assuming you visited us during our Easter Speggtacular event which is our busiest weekend and consequently there are a lot more people on the farm than normal. Unfortunately we only have a finite amount of space but we will certainly take your comments on board and review the placement... More

I set off for the day with my youngest son who is 18months old and we parked very easily and made our on foot and in pushchair to the Farm. We made our way through the shop where I just paid an entrance fee as my son was free and through to the pigs. My son loved being able to... More

Went for an afternoon out with children (5 & 7y old) and granny. Although our side was grey and bleak, the entrance to the farm started with a packed playground and picnic area and great smell of the barbecue. The entrance fee is not cheap (£3 for child, £7 for an adult) but you get full day of farm activities... More

Ignore any negative reviews! For the entrance fee, you are supporting a lovely farm and friendly animals. You really would never believe how nice the animals are. The atmosphere seems real and it beats Easton farm hands down due to the less commercial feeling. The facilities are basic but perfectly acceptable. Well worth the money!

I like to give my honest opinions when I review and I'm afraid this place is not very good. There is so much potential but it's lost. The fee is steep at £7 but you need to remember is for rare breeds. But the farm is run down. There is old rubbish everywhere like old huts and machinery. Easy for... More

We're sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your visit and we do take all feedback very seriously. It does seem like you had a very different visit in comparison to a lot of our other TripAdvisor reviewers. Unlike several other attractions in the local area, we are a true working farm and the focus of the farm is centred around... More

We took our twin granddaughters (2.75 years old) and they loved it. Cuddled a rare breed lamb. Lots of lovely animals all used to being fed. Simple but fulfilling family fun. Big mention to the staff who were all very friendly and quite informed. Nice to see so many youngsters working outside and interacting . All in all a real... More
