An unusual but interesting statue in Ipswich. Not in the very centre of town but is within easy walking distances, situated near one of the towns car park.

I like this statue very much and visit it whenever I am in Ipswich. It is a fine memorial to an exceptionally talented man who sadly lost his life in World War II.

this is one of my favourite statues in Ipswich, it is in a good location on st Nicholas street and is quite inspiring. you can read a brief history of what this man did once he arrived in our country and fought for us in the war as a pilot. great dedication.
