Lovely rejuvenated area of the town. Nice to visit day or night. A number of bars serving a wide range of wines and local alcohol, also a varied selection of snacks and bar food.

Its just the best place in Ipswich for style, Hotels, food, bars, nightlife. It is the showcase for Ipswich and should not be missed. Parking is easy and great to stroll along the dockside.

It's such a shame that there is still no signs of redevelopment of the waterfront - it is ok where the university college is but at the town centre end it is derelict and depressing. So much potential but hardly any action!

I was very depressed when I revisited this area after a gap of many years. I remember a busy and exciting dockside with large commercial ships tied up along the dock walls. Now it has all been sanitised and filled with millionaires playthings. The lovely old warehouses have either become up-market eating places or expensive apartments. I suppose they call... More

It's juts a nice place, interesting watrefront with great facilities for wining and dining. Lovely inland harbour really, not just a place to park boats. Nice walk into town centre and car parking not too expensive.

Walking through the mixture of buildings at the Ipswich waterfront gave mixed feelings. At one point you see lovely yachts that sit there in the shiny blue water, and you look up and see derelict buildings that make you think that you are Harry Palmer in one of Len Deighton's cold war films. This drags the area down a bit, there are... More

Ipswich waterfront is just lovely and even better if the sun is shinning, lots of places to take coffee lunch and dinner and just to walk around. The waterfront is about a 10 minute walk from the town centre all sign posted, if you love boats water good food good views your love the waterfront.
