What a gem of a stadium, not the biggest in country and not the cheapest but a good family experience, well done Ipswich Town

Been going to itfc for many years the place needs a good clean. The food is overpriced and very poor. Coffee tasted rancid. away fans mix with home no controll and dont feel safe. Wont go any more.

Best place to see some great goals especially from the man of the moment Daryl Murphy. If you want to experience a great day out you can visit one of the many Pubs in the town before the game. The stadium is relatively modern and thankfully has returned to the family atmosphere we know and love. We go to every... More

Bog-standard 'modern' football ground. A once famous club now languishing in mediocrity in every way. One nowadays sits squashed into a tiny plastic seat with no legroom, in a quiet, half-full stadium, to watch players that no-one has ever heard of. As everyone is nowadays fat, the seats need to be bigger and the legroom more generous or one is... More

Portman Road is unusual for an English football stadium in several ways. 1. It is a modern stadium in walking distance of both the town centre and the railway station. Probably only Fulham, Norwich and Wolves in the Championship are also like this. 2. The train service to and from London always gets you back after the game, even if... More

As a lifelong Town supporter with a few miles on my clock I remembered the 'good old days' here. It is all seated of course now - but still very friendly and a real family atmosphere. The facilities are quite reasonable for a football stadium and location very convenient

Fantastic !!! We were there on the 13th September for the Millwall game, the hospitality is amazing, the food superb and the match was very good. My husband was there for the dream ticket, man of the Match sponsor, amazing I have never experienced something as awe inspiring. Thank you Ipswich Town Club for everything.

Early Saturday kick-off was a new experience for me, but it worked just fine. We left the hotel about 8 am to get breakfast at Liverpool Street Station before the train set off from London towards Ipswich at 9.30. The train ride to Ipswich was about 1 hour. When you leave Ipswich Station, it's impossible to miss Portman Road as... More

We visited the ground 2 weeks ago as away supporters, our first issue was once we got to the turnstile we were told to take the caps off of our sealed lemonade bottles, no explanation as to why and as we had two each, one was for the game the other for the train journey rendering it wasted. The seats... More

Been several times to Portman Road to watch Ipswich Town. Some good, some not so good games. Staff friendly and always helpful. Go with friends with season tickets so seats very good. Would recommend going, atmosphere always good amongst fans.
