Nice big park close to Ipswich town centre. Easy free parking possible near the park in one of the side streets. Children's play area, Lovely to walk around on a summer's day.

One of England's great parks, big, green and beautiful. Try and catch a live event here such as a music festival. It's a great family park and located close enough to the train station and A12 / A14 interchange for easy access.

Nice big park very close to Ipswich town centre, has plenty of seats scattered around a large round pond , very peaceful get away from the city. It even has a little cafe for refreshments. The only downside is that parking is very limited near the park and you can only park for 1 hour and not return with in... More

Christchurch park has something for everyone within walking distance of Ipswich's bustling high street shops. This green lung is a place to escape to the country, with open space water features with wild fowl and the odd lurking terrapin too The park is great for the energetic jogger with some good inclines to challenge and take some of the energy... Great park right in the middle of town. Very beautiful and peaceful. I would highly recommend visiting it any time of year.

Christchurch Park is a lovely large park in the middle of Ipswich. Depending on the time/day parking can be slightly bothersome as it is also close to the town centre. It's got lots of interest for adults (pond, trees, plants, Christchurch Mansion), and also lots of space and a well equipped (and fenced in) play park for kids.

Fantastic history to this place and some very old trees. Mansion is worth a visit and free. Take some bread for the ducks too. Choice of refreshment places one behind mansion and one at the top of the hill near the park. Good fenced in play area.

Lovely park in the heart of Ipswich, a nice walk or sit and watch the world go by. A large round pond and wilderness pond with plenty of ducks and fish to watch. The park also has about six tennis courts which i believe are free to use. The Mansion is also worth a look with plenty of interesting displays... More
