This is a lovely park, just to the north of Ipswich town centre. It dates from 1895 and covers about 70 acres. There are many attractive features from the town's war memorial to a large pond complete with ducks. I always thoroughly enjoy a stroll through the park and, if I have time, visit the art gallery in the Mansion.

Great park to walk the dogs also to take children. In the centre of town, easily accessible to all. So many paths to walk around, spot the owl in the tree, feed the ducks or have an ice cream/coffee, the park has it all.

Christchurch Park is the main town centre park for North Ipswich dog owners to enjoy and was opened as a public park all the way back in 1895. The park is often thronged with dog walkers; to the extent I have mental habit of calling it "dog-central", but despite its popularity the park offers a great expansive open space, where... More

Amazing firework display by the 11th Ipswich Scouts. Park was done up nicely and very tidy. Excellent evening of family fun.

Love Christchurch Park, Its a great afternoon with the kids - best of all its free! The kiddies play area has recently been re-done (least it looks recent). We took a BBQ along and it was wonderful my only wish is that they replace the large slide that was here when I was a kid.

Large park, with great walks and lawns. Ideal for pinics. Great for young and old. Children will love feeding the ducks on the duck ponds and playing in the childrens park. Toilet facilities available. Christchurch Mansion is situated in the park. Lovely old building that house an art collection, as well as traditional furniture of the period.

We enjoyed walking through Christchurch Park. We didn't get a chance to go into Christchurch Mansion because it is closed on a Monday. The war memorial is impressive.
