An historic building which is now a museum. Didn't have as much time as we would have liked but what we see was excellent. Wonderful to stroll around.

Great to take children to, or just go for a walk, but you are not allowed to feed the ducks stuff you brought from home, and as a parent of just one child, she is not keen to go there frequently as she gets a little bored quicker if we have already been there recently

This is a superb park with with interesting walks around ponds with wild life in abundance and an arboretum where many interesting plants can be found. The park is right in the centre of the city and has Christchurch Mansion as you enter which is a 16th century stately home. This is a must for any visitor to Ipswich.

The country's biggest FREE music festival! This hotel is only a 5 minute walk into the park and even if you are visiting the hotel but not the venue, the noise levels are minimal due to the effective double glazing installed in the rooms

A vast expanse of trees and fields, laced with walking paths, ponds and rolling hills. A gathering spot for all the locals. We lucked out with the sunny skies, warm temperatures and the parade of 1000 Fairies, part of the arts festival.

We only had time for a fleeting visit to see their Constable & Gainsborough collection (well worth the effort) but we made an unexpected discovery of an entire room full of amazing wood panelling. Although not original to the house itself it is contemporary and shows wonderful skill and preservation. This is a spectacular room and worth a visit in... More

Green and quiet oasis in city center. Great place to jogging, walking, play tennis, reading book on grass, stay on the sun.
