This is a lovely park to visit on a sunny day just to stroll around, it has a little pond and a larger pond full of fish and ducks. Some beautiful walks, tennis courts (which are free) and just all round lovely grounds. Always be on the lookout for events here, the park hosts the Ipswich music day which is... More

Great place for a quick break from the hustle and bustle or a drawn out picnic lunch! Plenty of space for those looking for a kick around and enough hidden spots to hide away away from the world. Check out the Mansion and the War memorial too! A real gem in the middle of Ipswich.

This park, in the middle of a busy town, is an oasis of peace and beauty. I have loved it since my mother first took me there as a little girl.

Visit here two or three times a year with the children. Park always kept clean and tidy. Brilliant enclosed play area for kids. Lovely for picnics. Park holds different events throughout the year too. Well worth a visit on a sunny day.

A classic park set in the heart of Ipswich with well maintained gardens and grass areas. The park offers many events for the people of Suffolk for ALL tastes. A good song bird population and even a resident owl that is not shy.

This was the location picked by local agents for a mini anomaly. It is surprisingly large, lots of space to sit back and let the world go by, and also a couple of places for young children to play. Top tip on sunny days the ques for icecaps is large outside, so beat the crowd and pop inside always a... More

Many years ago when I worked in Ipswich, the Park and especially the Arboretum was a great place to escape with my snack lunch. I also have fond memories of events here ranging from the Co-op Fete to Betram Mills Circus and the special celebration of the Festival of Britain. The band concerts on a Sunday afternoon in the Arboretum... More
