Beautiful historic building, only visited at short notice as we had got very bored very quickly at the Waterfront and were stuck as to how to fill the rest of the morning but so glad we did. Lovely setting in a park very close to the town centre.

Living in Ipswich, I have been to this park many times. It's a lovely green space right in the town centre. The park has many beautiful old trees, ponds and monuments, plenty of benches, good paths to walk on if you don't feel like running about on the grass. It's ideal for a picnic and there is a good playground... More

Park was very spacious and well patrolled by wardens. It is well laid out. Ducks were friendly! Nice ice cream sales point.

Beautiful park with several ponds and monuments, and plenty of grass to lie down on. It's the perfect place to have a breather and enjoy a picnic (if the weather allows it, of course).

I went there a sunny day with a great friend, we didn't realize how we relaxed that much! What a great park to have a walk or a nap. The next time I 'll take a ball with me!

An historic building which is now a museum. Didn't have as much time as we would have liked but what we see was excellent. Wonderful to stroll around.

Great to take children to, or just go for a walk, but you are not allowed to feed the ducks stuff you brought from home, and as a parent of just one child, she is not keen to go there frequently as she gets a little bored quicker if we have already been there recently

This is a superb park with with interesting walks around ponds with wild life in abundance and an arboretum where many interesting plants can be found. The park is right in the centre of the city and has Christchurch Mansion as you enter which is a 16th century stately home. This is a must for any visitor to Ipswich.
