The country's biggest FREE music festival! This hotel is only a 5 minute walk into the park and even if you are visiting the hotel but not the venue, the noise levels are minimal due to the effective double glazing installed in the rooms

A vast expanse of trees and fields, laced with walking paths, ponds and rolling hills. A gathering spot for all the locals. We lucked out with the sunny skies, warm temperatures and the parade of 1000 Fairies, part of the arts festival.

This beatiful park, in the centre of the town is an oasis of calm with its magnificent trees, borders and memorial statuary. The mansion which was bequeathed to the town has the best collection of artist John Constable's work outside London. Access is free and the collections of furniture, porcelain, copper etc make for an interesting and time-consuming visit which... More

Central to Ipswich the park is ideal for families, kick abouts, strolling, jogging and general through route. Mature trees, lawns, lakes and interesting war memorials. Highlight is the museum/ art gallery
