Had occasion to stay for one night at the weekend. The outside looked a little shabby but once inside was pleasantly surprised until I arrived at reception to find a piece of paper requesting I use the telephone for assistance which I promptly did, a male answered and told me I would be attended to in a minute which I... The hotel put on a really good party. The food was excellent and the decor was spot on. The hotel is also in a brilliant location in town. Really handy for the beach and the town centre.

We have just returned from a wonderful weeks holiday at the Baytree Hotel in LLandudno. This hotel has recently been refurbished and we all had beautiful seaview rooms with amazing views. The rooms were comfortable and spotless and the bedding was lovely with the best pillows we have even laid our heads on. We had no problems with the food... More

Had a one night stay, the room had been newly decorated but they had stopped at the bathroom which was dated and shabby. We unfortunately eat in the restaurant which was school dinners at best. The beakfast was terrible warm orange juice in cartons, (No fridge or jugs!!), the breakfast arrived with rubber mushrooms, a tinned tomato, and fried egg... More

Do not eat here. The food was bland and very basic. No side portions on the plate and no side portions that you could order. I had Hunters Chicken and Chips. And that is all I got, no peas or any other veg. Wife had salmon and that was the same. Also very dry.

Arrival: We booked into the hotel for one night. I was met by a group of seagulls eating food from the outside tables, the guests sitting at one of the other tables said they had been there for close to an hour despite a request for the waiter to clean the table. My partner was trying to find a space... More

I recently stayed at this hotel and was very impressed with the complete refurbishment of these premises. The bedrooms were large and beautifully decorated with amazing views. The food was to a high standard and the staff very friendly and obliging. I would highly recommend a stay in this hotel, I for one will definitley be returning!

Initial impression of the reception and bar quite good we ordered bar snacks which were fine and quite good value and the barman very friendly, The twin room we had booked was newly decorated with new bedding and furniture and was quite acceptable. The on-suite however was a big let down. There was a bit of a drain smell and the... More

Two course sunday lunch for a tenner was fine for the money. Limited ale selection. Reasonable food portions but veggies kept warm too long and mushy. Pleasant staff, neat and tidy inside. Can't quite give it very good because the food wasn't. But it was OK and I would say quite good value given the cost. Would possibly return if... More
