A fantastic part of our trip. Abit of an expense but if you have the spare cash it's not to be missed. A great view of the orme on the way up and one of the pier and bay on the return trip. We took our eight week old son up and down on this and taking buggies on was... More

There are 3 ways up the Great Orme in Llandudno. On your own by foot or car, by the Funicular Railway or Tram, or the Cable Car. The cable offers the best views but is subject to the weather – or on the day I visited, the wind, which left it closed. Disappointingly the sign telling us that it was... More

We enjoyed our ride on the cable cars with lovely views from the cars themselves and from the summit of Great Orme. We felt that the price was a bit expensive, even for a family ticket (£25 return - we had our 7 and 3 year old grandsons with us) but felt that for the boys sake we should go... More

We loved the cable cars. Really friendly staff and the chance to absorb the breathtaking views at a leisurely pace. A must if you are in the area.

Cost £25 for two adults and one child return. Sounds expensive but was well worth it though! The views were amazing! We visited three days in a row to try to get on these, as the wind and rain kept picking up meaning they had to close for safety reasons. However it was definitely worth the journeys to keep trying... More

It was good fun to go on this cable car, and it's certainly longer than you think it's going to be (you can't see most of it from sea-level). It's a couple of miles long! It'll probably be quite breezy and the cable cars don't have sides, so bear that in mind - especially if taking kids. It was quite... More

Went on 27th of may with my Daughter and the cars were running fine. by the time we'd joined the line the wind had picked up. Unfortunately, they had to stop the cars due to high winds... whilst i accept and agree with this, what I don't agree with is allowing people to queue for quite some time before the... More

Be aware that they don't take any form of card payment - you can only pay cash. You won't find this out until you get to read the notice at the ticket booth at the front of the queue - at which time you could have been queuing for some time. There can be a fair queue during peak season... More

cable car ride, just a long queue, had to wait nearly half an hour, so if its raining no shelter, a bit pricey but staff were helpful.

A must! We really enjoyed the cable cars .... Lovely views of the Great Orme and ocean. Wear layers of clothing even if it's a warm day .... It's quite cold when you get up there!
