Much much quieter than the North Shore but absolutely beautiful and scenic. The far side of the beach near The Orme is dog friendly but was reasonably quiet when we were there.Much more residential than the North but there is a spattering of watering holes and cafes.Only a nice leisurely 20 minute stroll back into main Llandudno.

Several years since we visited the West Shore - good signs of developments. Good access to the Orme should you wish to walk the long route back to town

We love this little beach and it's amazing views of Snowdonia, the Great Orme and Anglesey. A great place to relax and the parking is free.

Lovely beach with some sand and some stony / shell areas. My daughter came away with a nice collection of sea shells which weren't all broken up1

Wide open space, quieter than the north shore easy to get to from both sides. Plenty of dog walkers, toilets were all closed could be the time of year.

late autumn sunshine and sitting watching the world go by, panoramic view of the bay and out to sea. this is a little gem...need to expand...food delicious, service nothing too much trouble...all home baked...prices you can afford...touch of class out on a limb, wonderful.

This shore is a lot quieter than the main East shore - all the attractions are on west shore. So if looking for a beach to go to, but need a quiet place - this is for you.

Lovely area to walk around. Can walk around the Great Orme or we went the other way and walked along the coast to Conwy. It was 4.1 miles and took an hour and a half to the centre of Conwy. We also walked back, would recommend.

Lovely spot to take young children for a play in the all weather playpark, a play on the sand and a walk along the shore/promenade. More natural than North Shore, of course. We live locally and come here often as many other local families do. The views across to Snowdonia and Anglesey are stunning on a clear day, especially in... More

The less known area of the West Shore is one of my most favourite places in the world. It's quiet, peaceful and a very well kept area. It's good to look across to Conway.
