Although it was a little too cold for sitting on the beach the sands looked beautifully clean, very little to no litter probably due to the local litter wardens and an abundance of litter bins along the prom.

Quieter than Llandudno and much sandier. Great hill views across the estuary to Snowdonia and to Anglesey. Free parking. Toilets 20p. Play area. One or 2 cafes and a paddling pool -although this was occupied by numerous seagulls in April.

Lovely little beach, took little train down to here and walked back up to town centre, half hour walk if that.

We chanced walking over towards the West Shore as we realised the sun was about to set - WELL WORTH IT! The beach was practically empty, and the sunset was beautiful.

Dramatic views lovely place to spend a day. However poor faculties fr tourists as too few public toilets. The Cafe may serve good food but their toilet facilities are appalling, unlocked, filthy - I would not use them. They were temporary facilities in 2012!!! Not suitable for disabled or children. No lifting after dark on a pathway away from Cafe.... More

Suitable for wheelchairs along the promenade area but watch for the drifted sand ,it can be deeper than you think and the wheelchair wheels didn't take to kindly to being dragged though the sand.

Lovely beach and scenery. Better than the main front. I suspect no-one tells tourists it's only a ten minute walk away or maybe some don't want to walk ten minutes? There is a nice beach cafe serving all types of food and alcohol too! Otherwise, unless you like scenery and walking, I do, then I have to break it to... More

Much much quieter than the North Shore but absolutely beautiful and scenic. The far side of the beach near The Orme is dog friendly but was reasonably quiet when we were there.Much more residential than the North but there is a spattering of watering holes and cafes.Only a nice leisurely 20 minute stroll back into main Llandudno.

Several years since we visited the West Shore - good signs of developments. Good access to the Orme should you wish to walk the long route back to town
