This is a lovely quiet beach just a stone throw from Llhandudno. The sands are clean , no dogs aloud and the beach is regularly monitored by the beach police on his beach buggy. The sea is shallow and goes quite away out. The views across the estuary are lovely. Lots of sand dunes to shelter amongst. The only downfall... More

If you like a beach that's not been on steroids this is the place for you! It's almost untouched in terms of commercialism, so take a picnic, snacks drinks etc because there don't seem to be many of any places to make add hoc purchases. That said, if you want to take your kids to a beautiful beach for a... More

A quiet area of Llandudno, good childrens play area with donkey rides available, portable toilets 20p, reasonably priced cafe's nearby, flat area for walking with benches along the way. makes a good change from the hustle and bustle.

Some people say that the West Shore is a poor Cousin to Llandudno's Promenade but that isn't strictly true. Yes it is a lot quieter but that adds to it's appeal. The Boating Lake, though Boats haven't been on it for years, is a haven for Ducks and Model Boaters alike and the redeveloped Children's play area is excellent. The... More

Staring out to sea with no noise apart from the sea lapping onto the beach. Not another person in sight despite it being 17' and no rain. The occasional jogger going past as I relax and complete a crossword. This is llandudno's hidden gem of a beach. Don't get me wrong I like the other one with the pier, amusements... More

The quieter of the beaches around Llandudno but that is to me its best asset apart from its views. There are less people using it but you get lovely views of the estuary and the mountains its lovely and nice to sit there and take time out.

Lovely sand, a little shingle. Free on-street parking. Great little tea room and ice creams at Beth Eden Guest House opposite, which has both indoor and outdoor eating. Boating lake and newly done large children's play area. Not commercialised so no 'arcades' - great! A beach for proper family holidays.

The West shore is a quiet shore looking out towards anglesey and surrounding area and a nice walk and they is a cafe at the far end and a model railway as well and if you do not want to walk they a land train that goes from the prom to the west shore and back letting off when you... More

Large expanse of sand and views over the estuary and mountains. Less people go here, but as a beach, far better than the North beach. Can walk through the gardens. But less in the way of shops etc.
