The beach is pebbly, clean and tidy. A footpath that follows all the way through to Deganwy. Also there's a little cafe near the beach and easy to park there as well.

The beach itself can be tricky to reach in places as you walk over stones but the views make it all worth while and much more peaceful than the other shore. There is free parking and also a large pay to park. The walk along the boardwalks to Conwy via Deganwy is a joy - and there is always the... More

The views down to the Menai Straits and Anglesey are out of this world,so if in Llandudno make the short journey from the centre of Llandudno to take in the views-it will be worth it.

Insist your Grandchildren go with you, buy a model sailing boat and get yourselves down to the boating lake followed by a bygone romp through the dunes. If it's windy the sand can get everywhere but you won't mind. You'll be blinded by nostalgia not sand.

Although the beach might not be as safe as the North beach because of the Conwy estuary, it makes up for it with spectacular views of Snowdonia and Anglesey. There is plenty of parking and seems much more peaceful

We started our walk from the promenade near the War Memorial. With your back to the sea walk in a straight line through the suburban area until you reach West Shore about 30 to 40 minutes at a leisurely pace. You will find there a wide promenade, a cafe and toilet facilities, (it cost 20p to spend a penny here... More

It was a windy day when we visited this beach but we watched the surfers and the children playing in the excellent play area on the front. The tea room serves a very good coffee and Bara Brith loaf.

First visited here on the Hop on Hop off Bus. So stopped here one night and had my tea on the beach. A lovely place to catch the sun going down. Just loved the views. The beach is so dramatic at low tide.

Beautiful beach with amazing views. Lots of wildlife. We saw the biggest crab claw we've ever come across!! Sadly no crab attached! Lovely rock pools and shells. The dog loved it. What I liked most about it is that we came across very little rubbish! It looks like a beach that's taken care of and respected by the people who... More
