Not a great deal there but we had a nice walk along the promenade and called at a tea shop, which was very nice. Would not wish to stay at west shore.

Its worth a stroll up to the west shore for lovely views. Also popular with dog walkers. Its a 15 min steady stroll back into town. There is a cafe and pub. Nice quiet area away from busy prom. You can get the little land train if you wish.

I currently live in Wrexham almost 50 miles from West Shore and usually walk my dog in woods close to my home but when the sun is shining there is nothing better than taking him to a dog-friendly beach and West Shore is my favourite. We've come back this afternoon from a glorious walk in the sunshine - lots of... More

A much nicer beach than the other in Llandudno. Pretty quiet but a couple of places to eat and drink. Strong winds from time to time.

If you want a quieter area of Llandudno try the West Shore which is situated about a mile away from the main beach/promenade area. Great for walking the dog! Great views across to Anglesey and Puffin Island. A small sandy beach lies at one end of the sweeping bay together with a small area of sand dunes. Any trip to... More

The West beach has more sand when the tide is out, but does seem to catch the prevailing wind. Its only 10 minutes walk from the North beach, so worth a wander.

This is such a beautiful beach...miles of sand, a lovely cafe and plenty of parking,! Whoever made the decision to dump all the rocks and stones, even in the name of flood defence, should be made to remove them...dreadful, dangerous and an eye sore. All those beautiful steps covered and replaced by monstrous, ugly stones. One way of keeping llandudno... More

Very gradual sloping beach. Incredible view. Very quiet. There are toilets that you pay 20p to get in and they don't always open even after you have paid. There's a small kiosk selling buckets and spades and a cafe by the main car park. If you get there early you can park free on the road. It's a lovely beach,... More
