Very gradual sloping beach. Incredible view. Very quiet. There are toilets that you pay 20p to get in and they don't always open even after you have paid. There's a small kiosk selling buckets and spades and a cafe by the main car park. If you get there early you can park free on the road. It's a lovely beach,... More

This side of Llandudno is so much more picturesque and peaceful than the more popular North Shore. The beach is lovely and the views across the bay are fantastic. There is an extensive play area for the children and an outdoors paddling pool. Don't all rush there though, it might get too busy.

Went on a bright, clear day and it was hard to believe we were in Wales. Beach is clean, dog free and the water had no litter. Defiantly go again!

The views are great and almost every night there is an amazing sunset. The beach is dog friendly and there is west shore beach cafe near by.

Parking can be a little tricky. A lovely sandy beach that allows dogs on it. When the tide is out there are rocks and rock pools for the children to explore.

We took the local fun attraction train to the west shore and my son had a great time on the park that was there and we also played crazy golf which was great fun. A very clean beach made the day better which was a lot quieter than the north shore

I only live down the coast but this beach is worth the 30 minute drive rather than going to Rhyl beach. Lovely at night with a park nearby. Lovely views of the orme. When the tide is out there is a great spot for rockpooling.
