The West Shore is a quieter spot with a lovely view of Anglesey across the water. Lovely walk from the tam station through Halfre Gardens. Beautiful views and a lovely cafe fro a break.

West Shore is not overcrowded. It is ideal for families, because it has a good little playing area with swings etc. There are adult outdoor exercise machines. There is a little pond with swans and ducks. Of course there is a beach to make sandcastles. You can walk a good distance on the flat. Parking is not too bad. There... More

its a very quiet place compared to the other beach in Llandudno , not a lot of places to eat or drink but its beautiful here , there's a childrens play area and exercise area for adults if you have had too many (fish and chips" but its just lovely to watch the sea and views across the bay

This beach is a must if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the main north shore and dogs are allowed too

Although it was a little too cold for sitting on the beach the sands looked beautifully clean, very little to no litter probably due to the local litter wardens and an abundance of litter bins along the prom.

Quieter than Llandudno and much sandier. Great hill views across the estuary to Snowdonia and to Anglesey. Free parking. Toilets 20p. Play area. One or 2 cafes and a paddling pool -although this was occupied by numerous seagulls in April.

We chanced walking over towards the West Shore as we realised the sun was about to set - WELL WORTH IT! The beach was practically empty, and the sunset was beautiful.

Dramatic views lovely place to spend a day. However poor faculties fr tourists as too few public toilets. The Cafe may serve good food but their toilet facilities are appalling, unlocked, filthy - I would not use them. They were temporary facilities in 2012!!! Not suitable for disabled or children. No lifting after dark on a pathway away from Cafe.... More
