Me and my 2 children have just returned from a great day out at the Welsh Mountain Zoo. Admission prices are excellent value for money and include lots of animal shows, such as penguins, sealions, chimps and birds of prey. Our visit this week to this zoo was a huge disappointment. The fun attractions were the penguins, chimps and sea-lions; the rest was poor. The enclosures are badly maintained, for example the flamingoes( which looks like an untended allotment), the water in the sea-lion and penguin pools is so green that the underwater viewing areas are useless. I agree with Charl_zoo_lover it is a wonderful place at welsh at welsh mountain zoo with all the animals, but I prefer chester zoo, my children especially enjoyed the llama called rebecca and the penguins :) it is a good day out though and we all enjoyed out time their, i hope to go again soon. more

I found the zoo very exciting, as there are differnet things to see around every corner. My Children Enjoyed the park their as it was very different from many any other park. You can see the animals in a differnt way to Chester zoo, I would say you get a closer look at the aniamals an there are better views... more
