Happy Valley Gardens are a short walk from the pier. Once again there are plenty of benches for taking a rest. On arrival you see the Queen Victoria monument, the bandstand, the café . the stone circle and the toilets. The largest building is the start of the cable car which runs to the summit and is a very pleasant... More

This would be an ideal place for a picnic but unfortunately sheep had evidently been let into the gardens and left quite a mess. This was not the case when we came two years ago. However it is nice to sit on the benches and look out to sea, minus the wind turbines would be good. The café is a... More

This place is great for couples as it combines bits that are really open - allowing for great views over the promenade and bay - with secluded bits where you can sneak a swift smooch if the mood takes you! The landscaping is excellent - it goes up the side the very bottom of the Great Orme a bit creating... More

Children & adults doing the same, just at different paces .Also relaxing area's to just sit & enjoy the... More

Great to have a gentle walk through these gardens. Lovely plants and landscaping. Made good use of the regularly placed benches for some fantastic views.

We couldn't access anything because our child was under four years old. Visited here twenty years ago and it's exactly the same today - could do with a bit of updating, but aside from that it would be a great fun filled day for families (tobogganing, golf, skiing etc)

I looked forward to a return to Happy Valley after dozens of visits over the years as a child. I could not believe the amount of litter and excrement that covered the place. I was extremely dissapointed. Clean up your act Llamdudno!
