I took the Tramway to the summit of the Great Orme when I was a child with my Parents. Unfortunately, being a small child I couldn't remember much about it! So I promised myself I'd return as an adult. Apart from being a freezing cold day my Wife and I really enjoyed the ride to the summit. The staff were... More

Couldn't have gotten up there without it, worth every penny. It was a lovely trip up, and down again

The carriages are open and it was a little windy and wet on the day we used the tram, it all added to the fun of the ride.

We were told at our hotel to go up the great orme, so we found the tram, its just a street or so away from the front. It is open to the elements so have a coat and hat if it is cold. The views are amazing of Llandudno. You have to change trams half way and then at the... More

as we was staying in Llandudno we thought we would have a ride up the great orme on the old tram. It was really good you get such a good view especially on the way down! After we got up to the halfway station we changed to the summit tram and then we saw the great orme itself what views... More

For only £6 per adult return, the journey is very relaxing, with stunning views, Very enjoyable trip. Staff very helpful and friendly. The stations show the history of the tramway with the added bonus of seeing the machinery in motion in the spotless maintenance area. Would have liked to take the cable car too but end of season. If you... More

We were on a restful holiday so decided to use the tram instead of walking up/ down the Orme - so glad we did as on the day we chose it was blowing a gale! despite the late October sunshine it was cool to say the least - the Tram was clean, looked very smart with it's blue paintwork -... More

Chose the tram to get up to the top of the Great Orme. Friendly service and driver. Changed trams at the halfway point to get to the top. Slow, steep, meandering journey up to the top. Nothing not to like - Lovely
