Fantastic Trip

Finally managed to go on these Trams. Wonderful history and great that they are still running. A great and relaxing way to get to the summit of The Great Orme.

On the day of our visit the Tramway was only operating from base station to halfway with a bus link to the top. Understanding that mechanical problems can happen and they will have to pay the bus company contract we were surprised to have to pay the same as when you do a full trip on the Tramway. the bus... Nice way to get to and from the summit in a nostalgic sort of way. Not too expensive. Am concerned, reading other reviews, about a lack of consideration for disabled people. A very short sighted approach to the matter.

A fun way to travel to the top of the Great Orme ... We didn't expect it to be so steep ... The Trams themselves are amazing and at £20 for a return ticket for a family of four it's not bad value. There is a stop halfway where you have to change trams which makes it a bit different.... More

This is a fantastic Victorian tramway taking you up Great Orme and back. The queuing system is a little chaotic as there are two queues - one to buy a ticket and one to board - and it isn't clear how it all works. However, the remainder of the system seems highly efficient. The cost is quite expensive but I... More

The staff even though it was very busy were extremely helpful and friendly, they had a word for everyone. It's also a pleasant way to get to the summit. Be prepared to change trams halfway but sit back and enjoy the views.

A great tourist attraction. With a good price to match for a return journey ( £6.50 for adult ) - Once reach the summit the views are particularly stunning. On a day like today in the warm sunshine. At the summit there is a gift shop, cafe and beautiful views to look at.

Having read a positive review of the trams recently, we decided to take our grandson on it. The signs on the ticket office were confusing: one said that trams were running every 10 minutes, whilst another indicated trams every 20 minutes. We thought a twenty minute wait would be acceptable to a 4 year old, so we bought tickets and... More
