Took our 5 and 7 years old on this tram. They loved it, enjoyed changing trams halfway and then loved the play area at the top. Well worth it on a visit to Llandudno and the views at the top were quite simply breathtaking. It was a little windy and a bit cooler at the top. So we returned the... More

To windy for cable cars so we went on the tram. It isn't cheap for family of four but a must do. So steep in parts you feel like you're going to slide off the seat. Stunning views. Glad to get the top for a hot chocolate. Kids loved the play area. very windy was funny to see the hoods... More

We went on the trams as a family of four (with two kids, 5/3) and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, the kids loved it! Very friendly ticket man, and tram drivers - there was a lady with a wheelchair who wanted to come on our tram and they were very accommodating. We went up halfway, then changed to go... More

My fiancé and I ideally wanted to go up the Great Orme in a cable car & come down on the tram to get the best of both worlds. However it was too windy for the cable cars to run so we bought a return ticket for the tram. The views were absolutely stunning from the tram & very scenic.... More

The weather was very windy however we wanted a ride on the wonderful tram. The views were fabulous and we didnt have to wait very long at all for the tram up, halfway or back down. Was a little expensive bit well worth it for the experience.

Recently wanted to show family members the stunning views on top of the Great Orme and decided to take the tram up. A few minutes in a queue and on we got. Not quite as exciting as the cable cars but for the more nervous passenger, no fear of heights here. Sit back and admire the amazing views over Llandudno... More

The weather wasn't that great unfortunately but it didnt dampen our enthusiasm It was well worth a visit and a lovely experience with Great views from the summit over the sea towards Penmaenmawr and LLanfairfechan . There are different options available when you reach the top. ie: A Museum, Lots of trails for walking, Shop and Restaurant and of course... More

We went on crystal clear day up the tramway. It was about £12 for two adult single tickets to the top. The tramway was not too busy and we queued for about 10 minutes to get on. There is a station halfway up where you change trams - basically get off one and walk round to the next one. The... More
