This is the only way to "climb" Great Orme. From the moment you leave The Victoria Terminus, on an original 1902 tramcar along the steep street running section the Edwardian era engineering is impressive in its effortless end result. All the while the views across the isthmus between Great and Little Orme opened out below, including fine views of Llandudno’s... More

Visited on a midweek balmy sunny day in Sept 2014. Took a three year old up with us and a toddler in a pram too. Prams have to be folded up, but staff are very helpful and will load/unload it for you. We did the full two-leg trip to the summit, took some good photos on the way and at... More

My partner & I went on the Great Orme and found it very relaxing. Nice views whilst aboard the tram & at the top of the Orme. There's a restaurant, mini golf & cable cars at the top too. So plenty to do! Prices £6 per adult. Recommend only doing on a clear day else it's a wasted trip.

Went up to the Great Orme on the Tramway which departs from Victoria Station, a few streets back from the promenade. Cost £6 per person, children 3 - 16 £4.20 and £1 for dogs! - terrific views - luckily we had the weather as the sides of the trams are open!

Nice little trip up the Great Orme on the tram - runs every 20 minutes and has been running since 1902 with the original carriages.

We decided to take the tram for a different experience. Although it was just average and a bit overated for what it is.ok for a one off but think the cable cars are better with better views.

There was a big queue for it so we went back later when not so busy. It's not very large so you can't get all the people on. £6 each which is OK & you have to change half way up to another one. Great views from up there, well worth a visit.

Went on this last weekend with my husband and daughter. We just went up, using the cable cars to go back down. It's really reasonably priced. It's very steep in places, but very chilled. The views are incredible. You have to change trams half way. Well worth it for something unique.

Superb views travelling to the Orme but rather overpriced at £6. Best sitting on seats looking back at Llandudno for best views.

On a very enjoyable short break in Llandudno we took a trip on the tramway after watching the TV programme Guy Martin made how Britain works. It's a great experience. Incredible feat of engineering, if you are into that sort of thing, it makes you proud of the heritage left by those Victorian engineers. The trip up is spectacular with... More
