Great views from the top, good attraction to pass the afternoon. Expensive and can get quite crowded with long waiting times during the peak season. On a more positive note it is a must for any member of the public.

We just love old railway lines; this tramway is very different because it is cable hauled and really really steep. Yes, the queue was daunting but the time passed eventually and up we went! There are better photo opportunities if you get a front seat on the journey down. Once you are at the top you can see the whole... More

Its been many years since I went on the tramway up to the top of the Orme, I was only a child myself and I'm in my 40's now, married with a family of my own. We went during the October half term holiday and it was a lovely sunny day, if a bit on the windy side. The cable... More

This was a fantastic trip. Price on tram was very reasonable and does not take long to reach the sumit. If you go on a clear day the views from the top are stunning. Ideal for all ages. One of Wales gems.

A piece of Welsh history that is definitely worth checking out. The views from Great Orme are extraordinary. Be sure to go early at peak times to avoid the crowds and to have time to explore the copper mine.

Only open in summer but you can get off half way up and go and look around the mine. When you are going up the views are fantastic, the same as when you reach the top.
