A piece of Welsh history that is definitely worth checking out. The views from Great Orme are extraordinary. Be sure to go early at peak times to avoid the crowds and to have time to explore the copper mine.

Only open in summer but you can get off half way up and go and look around the mine. When you are going up the views are fantastic, the same as when you reach the top.

I'd actually rate this somewhere between average and very good. The ride is worth the money, the views are good and and there is good information about the history of the Great Orme and the tramway along the way just make sure you take a bit of time to read it at the halfway point as you change trams. Do... More

This is definitely an experience not to be missed if you are in Llandudno. The ride up the Great Orme on the tramway is brilliant just to watch the town unfold below as you go up the hill.

This little ride takes you to the top of the hill where you get some superb views. We enjoyed the view as well as a cream tea at the top. It was very relaxing and you get some good views on the journey. As I recall it was £6 each return and whilst thinking it was a bit pricey when... More

The tram system in Llandudno is over 100 years old. It's not the cheapest or fastest method of travel but it's unique and fun for everyone. Beautiful scenery when it arrived at the top.
