Like going back in time, a very slow and steep climb, take your time to sit back and enjoy the view and chill out, pick one with not to many children on so that you can sit back and relax.

This two-stage funicular railway is well worth the ride and offers superb views, a café, shops and toilets up the top. Bit of a walk t get to the "base" station in Church Walks (it is a little hilly on the peninsular) but beautifully maintained trams with a regular service tops it off nicely. Well worth the visit.

We went on the tramway up Great Orme earlier this month and found it a very enjoyable experience. I am in a wheelchair and the conductors/drivers were extremely helpful and kind. A lovely afternoon out.

This attraction is very well worth the cost incurred. Views are brilliant, staff very helpful and while access can be difficult for some elderly or less able people, help is at hand and problems easily overcome. While it's comparatively easy to access the Great Orme summit by car or even cable car,the tramway experience is a real step back in... More

A great ride up the Orme. Swapping trams half way up. You get some fantastic views as you go up and down. At a reasonable price as well.

We visited Llandudno and went on the tram. Not knowing what to expect, we were pleasantly surprised and delighted with the experience. Beautiful scenery at the top, lovely playground and tea rooms. A must do if visiting Llandudno!!

This tramway is over a 100 years old but still runs like clockwork. You catch it in the town near the pier and it stops half way up and you then swop to another tram to do the last half up to the summit. The trams are very attractive and although the seats are a bit firm for true comfort... More

This attraction is 110 years old and still working to perfection. We took this fantastic mode of transport first to the halfway station so as to visit the copper mine (also very interesting, well worth a visit) then caught a later tram and continued up to the summit of the Great Orme. There is an exhibition centre and cafe, also... More
