We have been to Llandudno many times over the years and a trip on the tram is one of our favourite things to do. The views from the top of the Great Orme are breath taking

Well worth a trip on the tram to the top of the great orme, the views from the top are stunning . There is a cafe on the summit and a gift shop and bar. It is a real experience for all the family and if you feel energetic you can walk back down.

Wonderful old system giving an easy and tranquil ride up the Orme. Views are superb. The only problem is the fairly long walk to swap cars halfway up which is a bit of a strain on the mobility impaired.

Totally unique in the UK this really is not something to miss. The total journey from the bottom of the Great Orme to the Summit is in 2 stages. The initial stage wends it way through the houses of the Orme until one reaches Hakfway Station where one changes trams for the rest of the journey to the Summit.

This tram which trundles up the Great Orme is an important traditional attraction of Llandudno. It's so easy to allow the imagination to drift and go back a good few years, not a lot has changed. The line and more especially the tram cars must be original. As the car climbs the views improve, not just of the town but... More

Everything done around here was very very British! Even the weather! The Tram has more than 100 years and still in brilliant condition. The views from up are stunning, you can actually see how you vanish from civilisation within minutes and reach the Great Orme and its wilderness. Thumbs up and definetely a 5 stars for everything. Have nothing to... More

Really enjoyable ride, first up to the halfway station then a change of trams onto the next which takes you to the top. Advantage of the trams they keep going in the wind and rain where as the cable cars stop, they are also a lot cheaper than the cable cars. Staff friendly and happy to chat, without a doubt... More
