Not much to see as there is a lot of construction work going on. Will probably be good when finished but can't really tell. Ice cream shop at the front of the pier was very good value

We had a walk along the pier when we had a quick stop over in Eastbourne, although the weather was wet and windy it still made for a good visit. The pier has a nice traditional feel to it with the wood clad buildings.

The pier is a must for fun from old fashioned games to dodgems swing boat coconut shy tin an alley and many more, or you could just sit on a seat and watch other people enjoying what Eastbourne has to offer the holiday maker

It was lovely to see that the pier is open again after the fire last year. I can't wait to see it when the building work has been completed, however the other shops and venues were lovely to visit and it was lovely to walk along to the end and watch people fishing.

Work still underway due to the fire. Look forward to seeing it again after the repairs. Loved watching the anglers at the end of the pier,.

Eastbourne pier isn't the same without the amusements , it's a pier with a restaurant, tearoom, couple of shops and a pier to walk on, now it's gone you relise how much the town relied on it to pull in people , let's hope the rebuild doesn't take forever and everyone can enjoy the pier in all its glory once... I always enjoy a walk along Eastbourne Pier. The renovations are going extremely well following the fire last August. I was pleased to see that the lady that sells ladies clothing/bags etc was back in business and always find her very friendly. They are good views of the town from the pier. There are places to purchase food. It is... More

lovely olde timey pier with fabulous views of the beautiful shoreline buildings and the water, good mix of eating places that are fancy or casual or grab and go, vintage vibe and i'm very glad they are keeping this look and not using the rebuild to modernize, nice and wide so even when crowded its not compacted, benches along one... Recently it had a fire but the planks are down and work is going on to restore this pier to it's former glory. Can't wait to re visit to see what they are going to do!
