I recently was a guest among 10+ other people on the Blue Whale Cruise out of Straits Quay. Shortly after leaving the Marina, the boat developed engine/steering problems and we attempted to turn back. This proved futile as we appeared to have no power. These things happen, no big deal. But what followed was rather unnerving and, in my humble... More

We made a last-minute request for a trip on our wedding anniversary. Eileen responded to my first email very quickly, and within 2 hours had confirmed all details and we were booked in. Little did we know that she had organised the trip just for us and that we had the boat to ourselves. Eileen and the crew were so... More

If you are looking for a unique, laid back way to see the coast of Georgetown, Penang, look no further. Blue Whale Cruises took us out on a dinner cruise for sunset over Penang and it was fantastic. Eileen, the owner, pays close attention to detail and serves up one heck of a dinner. There was so much food we... More

I went on the full day Monkey Beach Cruise. The boat leaves from Straits Quay at around 10am and returns at around 3pm. We were welcomed onto the boat by friendly crew and given a welcome drink which was refreshing. My partner and I chose to sit up the front of the boat on the way to Monkey Beach. The... More

A must do on a visit to Penang as it capture the beauty of the island. Watching the sunset from the boat is something special. A lovely meal was made by the genuine and lovely Eileen who gave us a local history lesson and first hand knowledge of the island. Overall an excellent experience, well worth every penny. Definitely recommended.

Taking a boat trip in Penang with Eileen's love and care is a must for visitors, particularly children. either you do it at the beginning of your stay and it gives you an overview or at the end, a kind of round up! Eileen has a special gift for children, to make them feel at ease on board!
