We called in to this little gem on our way back from Latchi to Coral Bay. It is well signposted from the main road, just follow the brown signs. We were welcomed as soon as we walked through the door and shown where the museum and caves were. They were interesting but the main event was the wine tasting. We... More

Our second visit to this winery within six months to buy presents for family on an upcoming trip to the U.S. Made most welcome by the hosts and treated to nibbles and wine tasting once again. I recently read a very negative report and can only totally disagree with the comments made. Well worth a trip out in the countryside... More

A sublime taste of real Cyprus "and free" what can be better than that ! A trip to what must be 1 of the best wineries on the island, a must for the new visitors to Cyprus. Like us you will want to come back time after time to sample beautiful wine. We tried 7 varieties as we had a... More

We stumbled across this place by accident travelling from Paphos to Polis. Fantastic wine tasting with bread and excellent olive oil with oregano and olives to cleanse the palate between each wine. We were sorry we were travelling hand luggage only as we would have loved to have bought more wine and olive oil to bring home. Interesting place -... More

A great day out is had at Sterna winery and Kathikas village. We visit this winery every time we go to Cyrpus ( which is at least every other year) and the owner treats us like family. Fantastic wine and a great family run business. Bravo Savvas and family, you are superb!!!

The winery is located on the Latchi to Polis road and well worth a visit. A small family run place and bottled using traditional methods. Wine tasting is free and we bought a few bottles too. They also produce olive oil and some wonderful dried mountain oregano and other herbs

The journey to Sterna winery took us through vineyards and a quaint old village, although not sure if we fell upon that by mistake trying to follow the roadsigns for the winery. There was a small museum inside showing history/photos of wine making through the years, a small shop selling local produce, honey, olive oil etc. and we sampled 8/9... More
