Sampled some great wines - keep some of your luggage allowance to take some home!

Not sure if it is a proper winery. The museum is a joke, papier-mâché animals and people. No real information. We bought an over priced bottle of something the man called port. No information on the bottle. The wines were questionable and again over priced. This place is best avoided.

Arrived here just to pass some time before returning to our hotel after a walk. Even though it was a bank holiday, the owner welcomed us and showed us around the "museum" and the caves where the wine is stored to mature. He shared some of his wines with us and although I had not intended to buy I can... More

Located in the center of the village of Kathikas which is halfway between Paphos and Polis. It is a very interesting small winery which produces red and white wines which are available for sale.

The winery is family run and everyone is very friendly and welcoming. They ask you to have a look around the museum first, which is interesting, and then you move on to the wine cellar. The cellar is small and there isn't much to see. Then the wine tasting begins. They bring some fabulous olives, which are available for sale... More

Cute little winery with free wine tasting. Not a big place but very authentic and pretty looking. Wine is not amazing but the Rose is ok and reasonably priced. They also have olives that they pick from their land and homemade pottery if you would like to buy gifts to take home.

We travelled to Kathikas for a visit and we were recommended to visit the Sterna winery. This was a small winery and we were welcomed by the staff who were very friendly and informative. After a look round the winery, cellar and museum were were all seated and given some sample of the wine. We were given a talk on... More

Wanted to visit a winery and this one is widely advertised in the area & clearly signposted. The museum was laughable but the wine tasting was done very well with 9 drinks offered. All of the wine was drinkable & we bought a couple of bottles of very nice wine & a bottle of port which we brought home. Nice... More

Typical tourist trap. Over promoted in glossy leaflets. Museum hardly worthy of name, just a room with a few old production items, and badly made animals. Basically left to wander round unexplained ( takes all of five minutes ) Very rushed tasting with very meagre offerings and no explanation. Wines overpriced. Rest of shop area full of usual tourist tat... More
