What a fabulous place. It is so scenic. We went on the fjord trip from Norheimsund to Eidjford and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is also really good to travel around Hardangerfjord in the car as there are so many places to stop and admire the views. Aswell as staying in Norheimsund we also stayed at Ulvik which is also on... More

Norheimsund to Herand- booked this through the tourist office in Bergen. Caught a bus to Norheimsund then a boat to Utne where we collected our cycles. In May things were not open- make sure you take water and snacks and more substantial lunch. The tourism info said that anyone can do this trip but be warned If you are unfit... More

Tourist information offer many different fjord tours, we went for the cheapest one as we are on a budget. However Norway isn't a cheap place it cost £40 EACH but we saw some beautiful scenery. Would recommend if its something you want to do and see!

First time to Norway and was awe-struck by the grandness and amazing views offered by Hardangerfjord. Driving along the edges of the mountains, admiring the fjords, bridges and also houses are a few of the many things to do. There are also many viewing points and small towns along the way if you are driving. .

Absolutely stunning scenery, breathtaking to the nth degree and a true wonder to behold. Small waterfalls can be seen on most of the mountains (undoubtedly, bigger during the season) and villages plonked on the mountain sides.

Breathtaking scenery, making for a nice day trip. Bring some snacks and a wide angle lens for your camera because it's really hard to get all of the fjords in one shot!

This trip rolls out from Bergen harbour early doors. You get a good few hours tour as you go down the fjords, although you're too far inland to reach the sea. The scenery is fantastic, seeing it in person is something else. I would have liked to have gone out further but will do a tour round the coastal fjords... More

The modern facilities intellegently intergraded with the nature, the best that any country can offer.
