Just to start with.... I'm sure you've never seen such beauty abd perfection of nature before. Late May -beginning og June is THE TIME for the visit, then apple 🍎 trees are in bloom... Just imagine, snow on mountain 🗻 peaks, fjord waters, green trees and apple blossom... Trust me, it's the most beautiful place on earth 🌍

An organised tour with Holland America was money well spent. We left from Bergen and it took the whole day round trip. We saw magnificent scenery and that was getting there let alone the fjord, waterfalls and rolling green countryside. Would thoroughly recommend a day trip here, we loved it.

the only way to appreciate the scenery is by boat, especially cruise liner, we travelled on Cruise and Maritime's flag ship Magellan, a 42000 ton luxury liner providing excellent food, accommodation and entertainment

One of the best views in the whole world! We took a boat which was pretty cheap (around 5 euros per each) an we just enjoyed the beautiful view or in other words the art of God! We were so amazed that for a minute we thought seriously that it would be great to swim in those waters! I wish... More

I went to the Tourist Information Center near the fish market to make enquiries about the Fjord Tours. A staff there at the Center convinced me a tour arranged by them would ensure that tickets for transpiration (all modes - bus, train, ferry) to whichever fjords will be coordinated and available i.e. one will not be stranded. Based on that,... More

Its one of the most beautiful places that I have seen in Norway. We started from Bergen. The drive is awesome. On the way, we stopped at Norheimsund where we enjoyed seeing a big waterfall. Along the path, we enjoyed stunning views of the fjord and we continued our journey through Voss and then back to Bergen.

Wonderful scenery ... the road along the fjord is narrow, twisty, and single lane from time to time. If you are not in a hurry it is a lovely drive and there are ferries to link with other highways on the other side. A bit gloomy on a dull rainy day but a great experience.

Traveled by car from Geilo through Eidifjord and on south side of Hardanger Fjord to Bergen.Great scenery all the way with waterfalls, mountains and rivers. On the south side of Hardanger there are lots of orchards with small farm communities. Road is very narrow so look out for tour buses and RV's.
