This was part of cosmos tour. Taking a boat tour from Utne to kvanndal in our way to Bergen. Charming scenery, Huge mountains on both sides of the water inlet, waterfalls, houses at the foot of the mountains.

Would have love to do this but boats only ply in season(May-Oct); apart from this season either drive on your own or appreciate the nature through the bus. This should be a 365 days excursion like NiN

Drivimg through the mountainside, or by sea the Hardanger fjord, with all the apple and frut farms is an idyllic place, just like being taken from a postcard. It is very beautiful. You can buy the tour at the tourist office in Bergen center. Expensive like everything in Norway, but well organized.

Amazing scenery all around as you cruise this fjord. You will see mountains and beautiful small villages right on those slopes next to fjord. The fjord is not too narrow but it has its own aura and its great.
