Mount Ulriken has the best view! You can either ride the cable cars, of walk from Montana. I prefer walking! Depending on which path you choose, the walk up is about 40-70 minutes. The view on top is breath taking. During summer season, the kiosk sells refreshments. The restaurant on top is open all year, and serves really good food!... More

This is a rather old cable car and is really difficult to find. Norwegians don't seem to go in for visitor attraction signs. However once we tracked down some local help we managed to find our way through a building site to the start of the cable car. Views are superb from the top - well worth the trip. Good... More

As the highest mountain in Bergen, the views of the city are unparalleled. Atop the summit, there is a souvenir shop but oddly does not have the same tourist feel as Mount Fløyen. You have the option to hike up or travel by cable car. I started at this mountain a trek via Vidden to Mount Fløyen to truly experience... More

The cable car trip to the top of the mountain is well worth the effort and the restaurant at the top where hot cinnamon buns and tea and coffee were waiting for us were very welcome and the staff were very friendly and helpfull. The views from the top are nothing short of breathtaking. A must if visitin this city.

Well worth the 155 Kr return fare. Cable car to top. Seven minute ride approx. Enjoy the magificent views of Bergen and its hinterland. Try a short hike on a mapped trail being wary of rough ground. Enjoy a fresh hot coffee and a cake - or a full meal - in the restaurant at the top station. If you... More

One of the famous destinations in Bergen and strongly suggest to go up there. You can walk, run or take the cable car up. There is a restuarent up there where you can enjoy the food with a nice view of the city and the mountain. If it is Winter( you need to book the hotel in advance) you might... More

It will be an interesting journey to find this car. Ask directions before and follow signs and people! It is behind the university. The views are incredible and the base camp for many activities. Enjoy a drink at the top or hike all the way down the stairs. A challenging walk. You can also take the cable car back down.

It is a good trek, and cable car ride to the top. We finally made it our second trip to Bergen. The view was spectacular! We even stood on snow in May!
