Not as good as mount floyen, the views were amazing but there was not much up there. The cafe was also overpriced.

The ride up is a good experience unless you are well versed in cable car rides, in which case, i would give this attraction a miss, especially if you have already enjoyed the view from the top of the furnicular railway in Bergen. The fernicular gives an equally commanding view but closer to Bergen, and is less windy.

The cable car ride is fun and quite a bit to see on the way up and down. The views are fantastic from the top. Many trails if you are looking to explore. We didn't have enough time to walk the trails, but we walked partly down one to see some live sheep just laying out. Enjoyed a tea in... More

You have to catch the bus from near the fish market and this takes you out of town to the cable car. There may be a short wait as the cable car is not that large. It was well worth going up there. It's a different experience to the funicular, very different scenery. There is much more of a wilderness,... More

In Bergen, people have a number of choices. There are two significant viewpoints - Mt Ulriken and Mt Floyen. My Ulriken is serviced by cable car and Mt Floyen by fernicular railway. Both offer spectacular views over Bergen and surrounding fjords. If you have an Bergen Pass, Mt Floyen gets a 50% discount. This makes it good value. Unfortunately, the... More

The blue tourist bus from the Fish Market runs every 30 minutes to the cable car. Combined ticket is 245NOK. It's a 10 minute bus ride. The cable car costs 155NOK return (or 95NOK one way if you prefer to hike the other way). This makes the blue bus look pretty expensive even by Norwegian standards! You could walk the... More

I was so glad that I read some reviews and decided to visit here. Due to limited of time, I could only take bus and cable car to here. You can buy the package of tickets at information centre or the bus stop. It comes with a ticket for both of shuttle bus and cable car. It is 245 NOK... More

We visited this today and the views were amazing! The only downside was the long queue for the return journey late in the afternoon ie I spent about 10 minutes enjoying the view and about 50 minutes queuing to return home(wish that the reverse had of been true) in order to catch the last bus at 6 pm from the... You really have to take trip to the top of Ulriken, the highest mountain in Bergen. Use the cable car, or be sporty and walk to the top. But check the weather before you go. If you don't see the top of the mountain from the bottom, don't go. Nothing to see. In nice weather you will experience the most... More

Cable car is a little bit more expensive, but when you reach the top you'll be amazed by the view. There is the possibility of walking around and do small hiking tours. But be careful, it is wild and there are no signs, indications.. etc So get a map, stay safe and be cautios!
