One of the best Panorama ever seen in life. Bergen looks like a beautiful bride @ evenings. Mount Floyen is definetely #1 attraction @ Bergen whichever season you choose. It's accessible 365 days a year through a Funicular(which also serves as mode of transport for locals livings on slopes). Round journey costs 84NOK and takes only 10Mins one way. Single... More

It was a rainy, misty day, so we took a chance that there would be no view. That weather made the funicular and top of the mountain pretty deserted, but as we sipped soup in the restaurant it started to raise up. The peeks of views through the clouds was spectacular, and as it opened up and got more clear,... More

I live in Bergen and I walk up Fløyen almost every single day. The view never gets old, and the walk is just as nice. There is a track that you can walk on, as well as a road that goes almost all the way to the top. I would recommend the walk rather than the funicular, but the funicular... More

Fantastic views of Bergen from the top. There are various trekking routes from the top and its even possible to ski (saw a few people with skis heading somewhere). Weather at top must be clear to enjoy the view completely. Incase restaurant at the top is shut, there is a small souvenir shop at the top where you can purchase... More

Took the Funiculor this time to the top as it was snowing and icy. At the top we walked and enjoyed the snow. Views were a little hidden by the low cloud but it was beautiful.

The view from Mount Floyen is quite spectacular. You can see the most of the city, all of the other 6 Bergen peaks and good portion of the bay. Hiking to the top is doable in thirty minutes.

To get to the viewing platform you can either take the funicular or simply follow the many stairs through the houses until you reach the first trees, and then take one of the 2 trails through the forest behind. The hike is amazing and takes approx. 30-45min., quite steep on certain occasions but the locals seem to love it.

Pretty expensive, but loved the scenery. Overall not sure if it was worth the cost for 2 people. We were driving around the fjords by ourselves anyway so we saw a lot of beautiful scenery anyway.

A must place to go when visiting Bergen, breathtaking views across bergen and the mountains,it also has very trail to walk back Down to take it all in at your pace. Those who are not so fit can just get back on carrige to go back, overall I think 850kr for a return journey was extremely good value, highly recomend. One... More

On those days when there's no rain in Bergen a trip on the Floibanen will take you 300 metres above the city with access to easy woodland walks, or a more strenuous walk up to the radio tower, or even the much longer walk over to the cable car to Ulriken. With appropriate clothing and footwear, an early start on... More
