If you want to see some awesome views of Bergen harbor, you have to ride the funicular (we'd called it an incline train in the U.S.) to the top of Mount Floyen. Mount Floyen is best accessed from the lower station a few short blocks from historic Bryggen by the docks. From here a funicular regularly runs to the top of the mountain. Went up the funicular, view over the harbour was good, but we also went up Mount Ulriken in the cable cars - the latter was a much more exciting experience - the mountain was much higher and we found ourselves up to knee deep in snow in March!!
