My wife and I arrived in Bergen on a Saturday, having taken an enjoyable train (Oslo-Bergen) ride filled with lovely scenery. We would be spending four nights in Bergen. After dinner, we explored our options for a fjord cruise, and found that based upon the days and dates of our visit, the Sunday afternoon cruise to Mostraumen was the only... More

We visited Bergen for a weekend break and decided to take the 3 and a half hour tour of the fjords. The boat was very comfortable, the refreshments were fine, but by far the best part was the crew. They attempted to break through the ice, but it was too thick; they attempted an alternative route, which too was blocked... More

In summer must be the Roedne fjord cruise to Mostraumen and aroud Osteroy great. But in winter is AMAZING! The modern kevlar katamaran is not any icebreaker, so if the captain is reaching the floating ice, he´s measuring the ice thickness by sonar and decides if to go thru or choose another way... And slow sail thru Mostraumen narrow passage... More

If you are short on time in Bergen and want a taste of the fjords the 3 and a half hour tour is time well spent. The first hour or so was mildly interesting as we passed out of Bergen and past the surrounding towns, but as the tour got deeper into the fjord the scenery became amazing. There were... More

The port of Stavanger is very quaint and easy to walk around and I highly recommend you do that. I definitely recommend this outing too! We were able to pre book easily on line (and you should definitely do this). Lines to board the ship are long, but don't let this put you off. There is lots of room on... More

We took the trip for 3.5 hours. They were friendly, the boat was comfortable and clean. There is a cafe onboard which was fine. There is plenty of space inside the boat, seats are comfortable and the windows clean and not scratched so you can sit and see the views. There is plenty of outside space to go out and... More

This is an excellent boat cruise!! It is perfect if you dont have a ton of time in Bergen as it only takes up the morning (or afternoon)!! The boat itself is comfortable!! Ride outside for the best pictures but dress warmly!! The boat goes faster than I thought and I wished I had another layer on!! The views are... More

Amazing, fantastic and yes why not? Let's use the word in it's correct context AWESOME cruise. Take the three and a half hour tour to the Fjords close to Bergen. £40 each adult ticket. Money well spent. Crew friendly, they speak perfect English, comfortable boats. Enjoy the pictures.

Well all the literature I read made it quite clear that the morning cruise comes back the same way while the afternoon cruise goes round the island. Some people just need to read more carefully! This was a fantastic trip and while expensive [its Norway isn't it!] well worth it. We took the morning cruise because we wanted to do... More

We took a short (afternoon, 3 1/2 hour) cruise on the Rodne cruise line to Mostraumen. The boat was small and we rode on the top deck. We didn't need the announcements/narrations, but a map would have been nice. Some other folks found the Grieg music and the "goat-feeding" hokey, but I thought it was charming and funny. For a...
