The travel itself from Oslo to Bergen is enchanting. While going we went by road to Bergen. Then through fjords to railway station flam then by train. The fjords are really unforgettable charisma of nature. The mountains, the water, the springs are worth visiting.

Visiting Fjords around Bergen city are so beautiful! Even though a liitle less spectacular than the main Sognefjord the impressive is that you see hundrends of small islands, each with woods made of pine trees almost reaching the sea shore. A feeling of woods by the sea! Small fishermen boats may pass by. A beautiful and relaxing itinerary that you... More

We did the 10 hours ride. Really very nice and unmissable, but its important to consider the low temperatures at the bow of the boat, because of the wind. Lot of broken seats, however, but who will stay seated with all of those magnificent views? People who live in the way to the fjords are not happy with all those... More

Scenic tour that lasted about 3 & half hours from Bergen. Plenty of photo opportunities and jaw dropping scenery. Bring a jumper / warm clothes if doing the afternoon cruise? Would also suggest you bring your own food and picnic.

We ended up catching the train from oslo to bergen for 40 pounds which we bought online (cheapest way) we chose to do this fjord cruise instead... More

The train ride from Oslo to Bergen is very beautiful. You can see a lot of Fjords on the way. This is just the beginning to the world of Fjord - Bergen.. The train journey is one of the most scenic in the world. Well worth the TRIP !!!

We docked here and as time was short decided to take the sightseeing bus. Very expensive for what it is ... £25 per person. There are other options around the corner or a brisk walk will get you into time in 15 mins. We paid for a day ticket ( valid 24 hrs) only to be told that the bus... More

We took the Sognefjord trip leaving Bergen early morning at 8 am ;in an express ferry that goes through multiple types of water bodies till reaching the last point, the picturesque Flam town. Since it is an express ferry, with a few stop overs the journey did not seem that long, compared to the Hurtigruten trip that we took in... More

This was a beautiful city and we took a trip on the funicular railway to the top of Mount Floien from where the views were unbelievable, there was a shop selling many Norwegian goodies and the Norwegian trolls were everywhere including a six foot smiling one at the top. we had a tour of Bergen on the coach and plenty...
