I think it is expensive but it is reasonably priced. There is no tour guide actually, but in the trip on the flåm railway and the cruise, there were like announcements about the attractions around you. We travelled one way and i would recommend a one way trip instead of a return one. One thing that to remember is that,... More

We stayed at scandic strand hotel and walked to the station through market road (where a really cheap supermarket is called remo where you can buy salads for under £4 and the gorgeous skyr no carb yoghurt too!) as per the tourist information shops map- very useful and multilingual people! A few changes had been made that were shown in... More

I was not satisfied with my Norway in a Nutshell booking obtained through Fjordtours1 [mailto:fjordtours1@fjordtours.no] website. Initial contact was friendly and prompt and the scenery on the tour was pleasant. After my trip however I was left wondering whether the website was genuine?! As I arrived in Oslo late on the previous evening, I was glad to have email confirmation... More

The tour took us through some beautiful places, and we went at the end of March - there was still nearly a metre of snow despite reviews from other people - we obviously got lucky! I found the tour was quite on the expensive side, the train and bus part were regular services and there was no guide to give... More

I did the trip from Oslo to Bergen and back in 24 hours and although that sounds crazy, it was so worth it! I had problems finding good reviews with the itinerary I chose, so I will be very detailed in my review to hopefully help someone else like me. My itinerary: Oslo to Myrdal by train, Myrdal to Flam... More

We did the round trip from Voss starting with bus. - Bus to Gudvangen was average. I think it's a regular bus line, not a touristic one, because it would stop to pick up/drop off locals on the way. Driver barely spoke English (or was not interested in doing so), was listening to music (very loud) and often stopped for... More

The ferry ride and railway from Flam were definitely the highlights. The frozen railway halfway up the mountains was incredible, as was the impromptu snowball fight, and the views of piles of fresh snow and idyllic mountainscape complete with fresh-faced skiiers and wooden cabins. The only negative was the lack of a guide, just automated announcements in every language. For... More

Highly recommended if you want to experience the grandeur and remoteness of Norway's mountains and fjords. But the climate no longer guarantees snowscapes in March, and nor is there much chance of sunshine or greenery at this time of year. So, if you go on this tour in March, be prepared for majestic but bleak landscapes, brooding skies, and a... More

Went end of February. Coach trip did not have much in the way of fascinating views or bends. Not snowing and no snow at low levels. Boat trip was OK, no refreshments apart from coffee machine. Flam railway was interesting but only half hour between boat arriving and flam railway starting, so choice of eating or visiting interesting railway museum.... More

I did the Bergen round trip leaving at about 8:40 and returning about18:00. It is a long day and there were occasions where I was reminded of Satre and that hell is other people, however the incredible scenery did go a long way to making it better. Bergen to Voss is a beautiful line though be prepared for a number... More
